Raystown Lake Recreation Area, Hesston PA

We spent a couple nights in the oak cabins with some friends and our stay was amazing! The views are worth the trip and the cabins were comfy!

It's a beautiful area and this time of year very quiet. I have been coming to the area for 25 years and enjoyed camping boating and fishing there

Best lake in PA! Biggest beach in pa. Nicest rangers in PA. Most laid back lake/park I know of near by that isn't private.

Raytown lake and beach is really nice and very clean. The food they sell is very cheap and amazing.everyone you meet is nice and friendly. The water is very cold but your gets use to it.we will be coming all the time

It's a beautiful location! Make sure you get a map. The location markers may be vital getting back where you need to go.
If you're looking for a "no wake" zone I suggest you avoid the area around the resort. That was the roughest part in a kayak. Boaters do not follow the "no wake" rules.

Easy boat launch. Beautiful day perfect for swimming. Took the dogs along. Nice beach. Plenty of parking. Lots of little coves for anchoring.

More affordable and less crowded than the ocean beach but it has a lake beach that’s just as good for the small ones. It is more crowded than it used to be according to the older people that grew up in the area. Experience might differ a lot depending on if you tent, rv or rent a cabin.

Rented a house boat with seven points marina and had a blast swimming and fishing. There's also campgrounds, biking / hiking trails and BBQ/picnic tables. There's a Giants supermarket and Walmart close by to purchase anything you need.

BEAUTIFUL, L are water was warm mostly clean. Very few trees remaining in water. Lake was busy.

The best trail system for mountain biking! Beautiful overlooks! The skills park is awesome! Kinda wish there were more connector trails so that you can get back on your favorite trail if you want to lap certain parts more than a couple times

Haven't been there in years went with my brother and sister-in-law and nephew rented a pontoon boat and went out fishing for the day was wonderful the lake is huge and beautiful don't know what rates are today but if given the chance I would go back again and run a boat for a week and stay out on the lake just beautiful

We were here early season. Bathhouse was not cleaned up too well.still a great place to camp

We stayed in Maple cabin #1. Great place. Very clean inside and outside. Highly recommend.
