Took a fall foliage ride from pittston to Jim thorpe. Longest train ride I've been on yet and it was great. Passenger car was comfortable and clean, conductors were professional and friendly and it was a great experience to ride the rails and see the sights, rather than drive a car down a traffic congested highway.

Seats comfortable. Electric outlets for charging in dining car. Toasty warm. Narrative of passing towns well done. Loved the ride!

Rode the train from Pittston to Jim Thorpe. Spent a nice afternoon walking around in town. Got a chance to tour the church and Asa Packer mansion.

It was fun! Next time the R&N should run excursions from Reading's Outer Station to Pittston in the future!
