Landmark Reading Pagoda reviews
16The place is nice, quite and calming. The view is beautiful. The pagoda for now is closed from inside so I guess I missed some good experience. But I will be back when it opens for sure. Gives you a 30 mile view of the area.
We stumbled upon this little gem couple years ago on 4 of July. It was packed with visitors and locals waiting for the fireworks.the building is absolutely amazing full with characters, and the view on top is breathtaking. Hopefully they open up the inside for visitors soon!
Peaceful spot, windy and lovely place. Great at any time of the day but worth for a sunset and night view too. Visitors could do better as few of them are disturbing others with loud music, racing around with vehicles and using this as a Smoke up spot though all these are restricted. Worth a visit for around 30mile aerial view of Reading city, nature and it’s a good drive.
The best landmark in the Reading area to visit for sunset. Park used to be open all hours but has recently been gated overnight.
It's closed right now for renovation. Usually they have a gift shop open on weekends. Spectacular views of the city. A unique place.
Was staying down in Reading and saw this on a lot of things. One night we noticed it glowing on top of the mountain and started asking about it. Found out the history on it from some of the locals- what a cool find!
Went up during the day, and it was so beautiful! You can look out over Reading with an amazing view. Wanted to see it at night but never made it back up. Next time!
I wish it was already restored so we could have gone in it! I bet the inside was cool also.
A grab place to be able to the city completely. In addition to the view, it is a good place to meditate and sometimes some passers-by come and play music.
Great place. Very peaceful. Could be better in terms of cleanlienss and have trash bins around. People comes as use like a place for showing off cars which is amazing
Would love to sometime downstair via steps provided
Beautiful view of Reading city. Be careful when you drive all the way up there. And don't go too late at night You can get a fine. I'm not sure about that but I believe it is a new law. The parking is small. And is free
The historic and very pretty Readind Pagoda, offers an awesome view of the city. Parking is limited but is worth the trip. Must be even prettier at night.
Great looking building with good overlook of the city. The roads when driving from the south are a bit rough and confusing to navigate making it 4 rather than 5 stars
I would not recommend the atmosphere here. Maybe it depends on the season or whether it is a weekend. It should be an inspirational place, but on weekend afternoons, you might be smelling pot and hearing the incessant vroom of maniacs on motorcycles. They need more police patrols or private security. I felt very unsafe.
Maybe they should charge admission to enter the grounds to discourage "unsavory elements" from joyriding and partying.
Nice and has a beautiful view. The construction is incredible and if you are a fan of anything from China it makes you feel you are somewhere close. It's interesting to just sit and relax for a while to view how beautiful is the view.
The local sleeze bags and car clubs hog up all the parking spaces and play loud, obnoxious music and are completely rude. Reading police department needs to wake the fv (% up.
The Pagoda is the center of attention of the City of Reading Pennsylvania, where you can observe the city and take good photos and rest.
Amazing to find a pagoda in the middle of PA! Great views, wish it was open. The sign says to keep checking the website, it may open soon.
