Red Rock Job Corps Center reviews
10Terrible place can't even get in contact with anybody and if you do call and leave a message they won't call you back
The experience was great but sadly left but it was so good I'm thinking about finishing or starting over at jobcorps in Chicago
Staff is fake thinking they scare some body when in general they will all get beat up. Kids that go here are dirty n nasty they all smoke cigarettes n don’t even take showers daily. The food here is disgusting cuz no one knows what seasoning is. The whole job Corp talk is a lie just never come here.
Very nasty behavior from most staff. Females always fighting. Teachers quit a lot or just don't come back.
It was cool in 2004. I learned the plumbing trade and managed to make it down the hill to the liquor store with a few other people, got in big trouble for that one lol. All seriousness though, it was a great experience!
I went to red rock jobs corps and it was ruff there was a lot of people fighting worst experience I ever had
Great program for kids ages 16 to 24 years old. They help you get your high school Diploma and find a career path that fits your goals for your future. It's FREE, no cost. Check to if our problem is the right fit for you! Male or Female, we have something to fit your future. It's up you you to make the right choice for you
I've attended Red Rock from 04 to 05 it was nothing like the commercials or the brochure, it felt like living in the projects at times. Different cities had rivalries, like Philly vs Dc, and different dorms as well. There were many fights.but that comes with the territory when you have kids coming from poverty and different backgrounds. Some of the students came from broken families, and some of them wanted to escape their problems from home. Overall for me it was an experience of a lifetime and I had fun, Don't get me wrong it had it's boring moments up there but I've met some great people, I lived in the best male dorm on the center (7A) at the time, My RA was like a mom to me (Ms Deb), she caught me smoking weed and she didnt get me terminated lol. Job Corp was what you made it, despite some students being disruptive if you wanted to learn you would learn, and nothing would stop you, it all depends on the student drive and mind set. I mean no one was forcing you to get a free education, get your driver's license for free and a trade under your belt. If I could go back in time I would and I would of took it more serious then I did. My advice to a young male wanting to attend job Corp. Be Yourself, Mind your business, take advantage of your opportunity, and don't be a punk defend yourself only if you have to and you'll be fine.
I attended and completed this program and I must tell you everything about this experience was exceptional from the education to the staff members
