Rekant Mark S MD reviews
4Thank you for giving me my life back. Great TLC and professionalism. Not only did he explain the entire procedure but he executed it. Thank you so much
Dr. Rekant treated me twice for different injuries within five years: one was a fracture needing hardware and one was a dislocation needing a reset with anchor. Both my wrist and elbow healed wonderfully and I was very happy with his skill and his entire team’s support - from front desk to fellow. I appreciate the cut-to-the-chase approach and his confidence soothed my worries greatly. I knew immediately I was I in good hands - no pun intended! I’d highly recommend him to anyone needing hand and arm Ortho.
The absolutely WORST experience with a physician I’ve ever experienced. The front desk staff was very helpful and very pleasant, and after waiting for an hour to be called back for my appointment that was at 12 PM, The front desk receptionist went back and ask them when I would be seen at 1: 10 PM. (I was the only person in the waiting room the entire time). I was called into a room at 1: 15 PM. After 10 more minutes of waiting, Dr. Mark Rekant entered the room and examined the x-rays that I brought to him from the emergency room I was referred from. As we knew there was no fracture, however there was traumatic injury to my tendons and ligaments in my hand. He stated that because there wasn’t a fracture he would not be able to do surgery and there was nothing he could do for me. I asked him to refer me for an MRI to examine the tendon and ligament damage. He said he could not do that and he could not refer me to anybody else. He spent less than five minutes in the room with me and also refused to provide a diagnosis, as he did not even examine my hand or wrist and only asked about range of motion. I asked him to document that in my medical record. He tore up my paperwork and walked out of the room. I have been an ICU nurse for 22 years… so I do know the standards and protocols of what should’ve been done next. This experience was absolutely absurd and I would never refer anybody to this clinic based on the experience with The specific physician Dr. Mark Rekant.
