Renewal by Andersen of West Central PA

The most professional installers/craftsmen I have ever dealt with. I know the price for each Anderson Window seems like it might be something you'd rather not pay. I can only speak from my experience. The price is extremely high. With that being said, I just know that I am extremely pleased with the quality of the replacements and the installation is beautiful beyond what I hoped for. Looking forward to years of enjoyment. Mark was very professional and able to assist us with picking out windows that would be both elegant and energy efficient, we can’t wait to pick out new doors.

Pros:
Installers were great, they did really good work, were polite, considerate and they did a great job on the cleanup. I would have the installers back for future work.
The new windows make the house warmer and quieter.
As original windows, with the huge frames concealed within the walls, these would probably be a great choice.

Cons:
The salesperson stated, 3 times, that we would lose only 1-2 inches of glass around the perimeter of each window, reality is 2.5 -5 inches. We would not have purchased the windows if he had given us an honest answer. First attached photo (from RBA) shows how we expected the windows to look, what was delivered has another 3-4 inches of white between the outer molding and the glass. It looks like bad, awkward, clumsy and crude. 2nd photo shows the epic amount of frame and molding after the install.

Fibrex, the 'composite' material used in these windows, is claimed to be twice as strong as wood. However, it seems that 5-6 time as much material is needed as was required in the original windows so this claim is really questionable. Some of windows we were planning replacing are double-paned, so the 'there's more weight' claim to justify the additional material, is not valid.

Product is very overpriced, considering the end result. If the windows looked the way the RBA photo looks, then pricey, but probably a good value.

Overall:
Very disappointing experience. Will not purchase any Renewable by Andersen products in the future.

Jeremiah came out and and really made sure that we understood what we would be getting if we decided to move forward with these windows.

He made it easy to see why this is the best choice if you are getting windows replaced.

We weren't ready to buy right away and he was very understanding, and let us know what are options moving forward were.

Definitely will be calling him when we are ready to go.

Jeremiah came to give us a quote and gave us a wonderful presentation about the windows. He was very informative, professional and willing to answer any questions we had. He took his time and didn’t rush through anything so we understood everything. I would highly recommend him.

My husband and I met with Carson. He was wonderful to work with. Explained everything and as newer homeowners he also taught us about the indicators! We look forward to the new windows and the updated look. We also look forward to the warmer winters!

The design sales representative was very knowledgeable, and very thorough when representing Renewal by Andersen. The product was more than we could afford to justify at this time.

Very professional salesman, not pushy at all but very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Not the cheapest prices out there, but brought a very competitive product that was of nicer quality than I had gotten from other suppliers in the past.
