Renninger's Farmer's Market reviews
29It is a typical Farmers/Flea Market. They are trying to get back to a basic normal like everyone else.
Renningers is usually 5 stars for me but, there are a lot of stands that aren't being filled. It seems there are more and more worthless junk dealers filling the buildings. And, lots of empty spots. Arrived here today to get some shopping done at 11: 30 and merchants were already packing up.
I was very disappointed on my recent visit with the number of vendors that are not open. It is unknown if this is a temporary situation or permanent. Only one flea market vendor was there and he was wrapping up before noon. A few food stands are open but the staff and sparse customers look sad. It is heartbreaking to see this once thriving marketplace in such decline. Let's hope things improve soon before they close permanently.
They had indoor & outdoor vendors. Pets allowed outside. Mostly friendly vendors. Fresh fruits & veggies, flowers, guns.
You can find so.e good deals here. One disappointing thing is they are only open one day per week and many vendor's booths are closed.
Marlin Meats, local produce, Bills produce, smoked cheese, nuts and a great little space with all sorts of kitchen gadgets plus many more vendors. Enjoyed walking around.
Its a good market, get some great prices on meat, fruits and vegetables. Could be cleaned and brightened up a bit.
We make a long drive to come here for the bargain fresh produce at the large rectangle stand inside. Also for the always excellent Louisiana cooking at one stand.
One of my favorite places to go since i was a little girl! Great stands, great prices, AMAZING food, always great things to bid on at auction, friendly workers and customers both, truly a place that feels "like home".
Needs some updating. The 2 meat stands were awesome. And the cheese place had awesome smoked horseradish cheese.
Great little auction house, you can get animals on certain days and walk around on weekends looking for treasures!
When looking for fresh fruits, vegetables, beef, pork, and chicken this is definitely the place to get it you can't beat the price on any of it. If looking for an old time odd kitchen gadget sure to find it here. For being such a small farmers market they have it all. The only downfall the parking lot sucks needs a lot of attention!
I sell things at the auction on Sunday's, it's a great place to walk around and look for treasures! Especially, if it's raining out, go walk around the " Dirt Mall"! The restaurant, Josie's had very good food, tons of other vendors inside as well with amazing fast foods! Best Meat Market around is inside here on Sat and Sun, Marlin Meats.
Like the flea market. The actual market hasn't changed much in 50 yrs. Need to clean up their act. Too much junk inside. Visit Allentown market instead.
Plain and Fancy Donuts, Homemde cheese and bread, soft pretzels, candy, second hand goods, farmers market all in one place.
There are many vendors and it's very crowded on the weekend. Take cash bc next to none accept any card. But the prices reasonable & quality of food at Marlin Meats & Fruit Stands is quite nice. As well as a fun place to visit for unique fun finds & outside is like a large yard sale you're sure to enjoy your experience.
Always something good when I take my family. Large variety of food, from Mexican to Mediterranean, fried foods and grilled. Inside and outside stands.
I was there today for the first time. The building was so hot. And it is only may. The owner needs some fans. It was horrible hot
This place is just depressing. Been there several times (figured we were there at an off time) but is just sad. Most of the stalls are closed. The ones t open are sad. There's just no other word for it. SAD. Dirt Mall is the appropriate name. Sorry but Don't bother.
