Rent-A-Center, Waynesboro PA

I consider Waynesboro, PA RENT A CENTER employees as family. We have fun talking they help me when I went thru hard times and understood. They are honest and reliable! Bought them dinner a couple times just cause I love these folk!

I’ve had a horrible experience here.
They gave me a broke Xbox and when I would pay for the broken Xbox and broke controller I asked them to take it back. I don’t have a car so I couldn’t get it to the store and then payments got backed up because they never picked up the equipment. Recently I tried to get a bed set and they said that I was a difficult customer and I didn’t pay my bill. Which is true because I’m not paying for something that’s broken. The attitude, the guilt trips, the manipulation, insults, condescending attitude, I wouldn’t recommend anyone here. Customer service isn’t a high priority and whatever you order is probably already used and broken

Rent a center is a joke! We got a live seat and couch set and it lasted a day and fell apart called for a new one and they took almost a month to get it then gave it to someone else and we had to wait longer for a new one, I called to get the pay off and see what they do if you don’t pay, the manager Sabrina informed me that they take them back clean them and sell them. Explains why our first set fell apart so fast, very few of the staff are friendly! Brandon K had come out to the house to collect payment and he was the friendliest I’ve talked to out there, the two guys who delivered our couch both times just threw it around and didn’t care! Very rude people if ya ask me! I’d rather get from marketplace used!

We had just moved to the area and didn't realize we would need an AC window unit for our new apartment. I had applied to rent a center online and was approved. I shortly received a call from a women working there. I explained our situation she was very nice and understanding at first, so my husband then speaks with her and explains he is still unloading the uhual we rented that had to be back that Night we assured we would be there before closing time. Sadly we made it there 12 mins before closing time and the women told my husband she couldn't assit us because they shut there computers down before actual closing time. So my husband called a rent a center a little further up the road from us, the women on phone told us that we was lied to and the computer system is suppose to stay up and running until the store is closed. So she my husband corporates number to call. And calling them was even more waste of time. We had to suffer thru another day and night in the heat. Beyond disappointment. And can't believe that is how rent a center operates. Will never try to get anything thru here again.

Crystal the manager is rude and continues to harass us weeks after we stopped renting from them and had everything returned, which they took forever to come pick up after scheduling about 10 times and them not coming or calling. They take more money than what your payments are, they take money to cover “future payments” and then they put that money in their pockets and charge you for said future payments anyway. Crystal is not professional in any way, tries to guilt trip you and call you names to make you keep the furniture. Wouldn’t recommend, they will stalk you from random numbers if you leave like creepy ex.

Store manager gives out personal info without permission! That’s wrong personal info should be shredded when customer leaves the store without making a purchase NOT THIS STORE THEY GIVE OUT NUMBERS NAMES etc….

U may not need credit to get the products they offer but u will get zero help if u have any problems all rent a center cares about is getting your money they will not help u after purchase your basically beat if u have any issues they don't return calls emails etc a horrible company ran by horrible humans my advice stay away from rent a center at all costs save your money even if it takes awhile and buy that product on your own if I could have given rent a center a negative star rating I would have this rant is from previous experience and to help anyone who is thinking about dealing with rent a center horrible horrible company

The service told me I would have 2 free weeks but when does that even happen that’s been a lie

It’s been weeks and you guys still won’t refund me my money you took without my permission
