Rice N’ Beans, Bethlehem PA

I ordered the beef burrito bowl to go for just under $14. My order took about 1 minute to complete. I ate the meal in my vehicle and it was meh. Mostly rice and beans with a spoonful or two of ground beef, a pinch of cheese and nearly half the bowl was shredded iceberg lettuce. It also came with pico de gallo and sour cream. The meal was lukewarm and not very flavorful. I wish I at least had some hot sauce. I would compare this to a school lunch as far as quality and taste. For $14 I would not try this place again. The service was not rude but also not pleasant. The inside was very clean.

I guess people don't like making money or operating on their business hours. Showed up at 11: 10am, no one there not even lights on and even had business hours posted open at 11 on window so I call in and the answer I get on the answering machine is *today is Saturday and we are closed* when it's definitely Monday and should be open. Well guess I won't be coming back when I drove 20 minutes to eat here.

OMG so delicious and filling (packed with meat) … I ordered more however this is what’s left… I got the chicken empanadillas with the green sauce (spicy) and nacho cheese sauce on the side… not greasy at all meat was juicy just perfect for lunch. They deliver too!

Wonderful service! I called Rice n' Beans with only a 5 minute notice on a rushed lunch break, and the moment I walked in the door, the kind owner was waiting for me with a smile on his face and the payment screen ready. Great service & great food!

A had a beef burrito which was horrible. I felt like I needed salt because it was so bland and for that price I was expecting more flavor. The meat had no flavor at all. Never again

Wow! Excellent food! High quality fresh ingredients. The portion are wildly large.we had it delivered it was so hot I couldn't eat it right away. I got the fish chimichanga, perfect, tender fish crispy shell, great flavor. My husband got the giant burrito. IT was so comically large we weighed it 2 lbs of delicious chicken and rice. Absolutely go and enjoy. We use the one in Bethlehem, it really doesn't have a seating area. Suggest take out or delivered.

Ordered the beans and rice with pulled pork. 95% rice, 4% beans 1% meat and 1% cheese. Been ordering from them for years and they have started adding a lot more rice to their food since it is cheaper. The meat burrito was the same way, I picked the option more beans than rice but it was almost all rice hardly any beans and meat.
This was my last order for them.

Was excited to try as my boyfriend raved about this place when he went there about a year ago. Sadly, we were disappointed by the order received. He ordered a monster chicken burrito and I ordered a shrimp burrito bowl. For an 18 dollar shrimp bowl the only toppings included were lettuce, shredded cheddar, sour cream, and watery salsa. The rice and beans in both items we got were quite bland, not to mention the shrimp and chicken lacked any seasoning whatsoever. I expected a lot more for the price. While the portions were a nice size, I was extremely disappointed and let down by how bland everything was. We also ordered chips and guac for 8 dollars. The guac was not fresh, and definitely was store bought from just looking at the consistency and color of it. Would not return.

The food is terrific and very consistent. Whether I'm visiting this location, the Nazareth location or the location in walnutport I know what I'm getting and what I'm getting is good. Service always great quick and courteous. I often order the rice and bean platter with pork and extra sweet plantain.

I heard that this restaurant was doing quite well because they were family-operated and expanded to 4 stores in the Lehigh Valley. I tried this place recently (take out) and was shocked at the cost of the food and the quality! The tacos had some meat, topped by a little cheese & shredded lettuce in a very small cold soft tortillas. They came with a teeny cup of green chili sauce, and a cup of watery salsa. The Quesadilla was two soft tortilla shells with a little chicken and cheese. It was put on the grill for a few seconds and then cut in four (uneven cuts). It came with the tiniest cup of sour cream. Now, take a guess at what this cost, no drinks, just food. Ready? The cost was almost $38.00! We could have dined in a sit down restaurant, had drinks, and larger condiments for what this cost! Not sure what these owners are thinking but they are obviously out of touch with reality. Take my advice and buy the contents of the food you want and make it yourself. It will cost you next to nothing and it’s so easy to make that a 5-year old could do it. Plus, you will be helping the environment because styrofoam and plastic utensils won’t be used.

This place is great! Ignore the 1star reviews! I got a pulled pork burrito.not only was it done in 3 minutes, the thing was massive and majorly delicious. $11 is appropriate current market the burrito is a meal in itself I was definitely full after eating it.it is a shame to see this place that only a 3.9 it deserves at least a four.

Took way to long as they are very understaffed. Food is good but when you place and order online and they say 20 minutes it shouldn't be an hour!

Too expensive, portions are tiny, not worth the money.
Go to D Williams on Linden st in bethlehem is its buffet style, large portions you get your belly full with left overs for less than this place.
They still dont allow people inside like it the height of covid. We're over that. Open the doors already its rude

Tried this place twice in the past month. Was looking for a locally based alternative to Taco Bell. Sadly, this isn't it. They do nothing to make things convenient for their customers. I was driving the first time I ordered from them. The guy who answered told me that he couldn't take my order because he was the only one there and he was too busy. I was to either call back, or order online. I pulled over & ordered online. The pick up expectation was 20 minutes. I gave it a few extra minutes because the guy on the phone seemed so busy. When I went in, 2 guys were leaning against the counter & told me I was late. The food was ok, so I tried again a few weeks later. I ordered online & was again given a 20 minute expectation. I showed up at the correct time. A table was blocking the front door, and the multiple signs instruct you to call them & they will bring it out. I called to say I was there, and waited an additional 20 minutes out front. In that time I saw one other customer, and she waited just as long as I did. All of this would be fine if the food was good. It wasn't. My total was 110.00 (with tip), and it was a total waste. Most of it went in the garbage after a few bites, with the exception of the rice & beans. If you go here, order that. I should have known. It's right there in the name.

Pulled pork burrito, chicken burrito bowl and shrimp fajitas were amazing! Ordered online and it was ready within 20 minutes! We will be back for sure!

Ordered a chicken burrito bowl. Cost was about 15 bucks. Should include chicken, rice, and beans. When I got home to eat my food, like the entire bowl was beans, very little chicken and rice. 15 bucks for beans.what a rip off. Don't do business with them. I stead try Williams Spanish restaurant in Bethlehem. More food for a lower price and its delicious.

Ordered the pulled pork platter with a side of sweet plantains and extra order of fish patties. The pulled pork was dry and bland. The rice was bland and there were no green olives in it. The fish was store bought generic. They used to offer tostones. The quality has gone down significantly.

Edit 1: I forgot to mention how sparse the meat portion was for my pulled pork.
