Richter's Bait and Grocery, Jamestown PA

Nice bait shop. Great place for your last minute items. Little bit of everything.

We rented a small and large cabin for 3 nights. When we arrived the sheets in the large cabin looked slept on. There was also water all over the floor from the refrigerator leaking. We dealt with it thinking maybe we were just thinking to much about it. We’ll Friday evening for dinner, the leg fell off of the table and all of our plates of pasta and salad hit the floor. I ran over to the bait shop to tell the owners and to get a mop. I mentioned to the owner that the cabin didn’t seem clean. She did give me new sheets which we appreciated. We assumed the male owner would have come to secure the table leg since we had just propped it under to clean the mess. Well he never came over and then Sunday morning while trying to get breakfast the leg moved again and the whole table toppled over. I was upset when a pizza wasn’t even offered on Friday when our meals were ruined. To make matters worse when I returned the keys Sunday morning and told the male owner that the table had fallen again and we would just have to go out for breakfast it didn’t even seem to faze him. Not even an I’m sorry. This will be our last trip to Richter’s cottages. Cabins need updated and hot water tanks installed as no hot water in the little cabin and only Luke warm in the large cabin shower.

They most over priced bait shop that I have bin in the prices their are way to high for one dozen minnos and one dozen worms $10.25 the place is a big rip off don't go their

Love the unique gift variety options very nice clean deli. Great subs very fresh.good variety of snacks n chips and drinks super convenient parking and located on main road near the lake park entrance

Very nice n polite employees an a great price for bait. They have all kinds of bait whatever you want.

I absolutely love the cottages here. We stay at least once sometimes more every summer. It’s the only place we will stay when we’re up there. The people that own/run the place are so very nice. The store is really great too. Lots of really nice gifts.

Thankful for this place so close to the state park. Their groceries, fishing equipment, and other essentials made our trip much easier. Owner is also very nice.
