Rico Mexican Tacos Bar & Rest reviews
15Food was alright. The elote was very very salty. I ordered the chicken tacos they were bland but I still ate them. The pineapple drink was amazing!
1st time dining in at this establishment, it is very cute, family oriented and the food is good as well nice atmosphere DJ was there when we there. Laura the bartender was friendly and entertaining the server Miranda was pleasant as well. Recommend this lil spot.
Great atmosphere
Delicious food and fair prices
A hidden gem
We will definitely be back again
This was cute little place staff was friendly and food came out super quick. Loved the drinks specials and cocktails they had.
We typically place take out orders from the one on Allegheny Ave so when I noticed that a restaurant had opened on Lehigh, I knew I needed to check it out.
I came with 3 co-workers and found a spot out front. There were a few open when I pulled up as well on the side street.
Walked in and was immediately greeted and told we could sit anywhere. They have a full bar, music, TV’s, high top tables and regular tables. It looked really nice inside. I really liked the decor of the ruin and Mayan woman.
The chicken fajitas came out piping hot, still sizzling. Heard they were good and they came with bean, rice and tortillas. Someone had the quesadilla and I take it that it was good because they didn’t have any leftover. I had the nacho fries and my co worker had the spicy chicken nachos. Both orders were large portions that we both had to box up and take home. Both were really good and loaded w/meat, cheese, jalapeños and diced tomato’s and onions.
We all ordered sodas (Jarritos and Mexican Cokes).
I really liked the decor and it was looked really clean. Our server was really helpful and nice to our table.
Love the food and atmosphere. Great servers and great drinks. Love the music, not too loud, and not too low. Are able to have a conversation where it's not obnoxious. When you walk outside you can hear the music so it brings the restaurant to your attention but it's not crazy loud and disruptive to the rest of the neighborhood. They are considerate to the neighbors and always turn it off at the appropriate time that the noise ordinace says. The owners are very friendly. Amazing place and you can bring your family. Loved their valentines day event with mariachi! They have great portions for great prices.
The food here is amazing, but more importantly the staff treats you like family (that you like)! Gladys makes the best drinks and Miranda is so quick to grab anything we could need. We come in probably twice a week and that’s because my boyfriend doesn’t want Mexican more than that!
Absolutely no reason for the music to be that loud every single evening, late into the night. I can feel the vibration through my walls and floors a quarter mile away. Please have some consideration for the community that you've placed your business.
You had me at tacos. You had me again at agua fresca. Great atmosphere, joyous food.
If I could give it ten stars, I would.
Delicious tacos and nachos. Fair prices and great service. You should definitely try this place.
Finally came to the second location great location loved the vibe and the place service was amazing the food was amazing and delicious I recommend this place

Best mexican food in the area hands down and a great value. Dinner for two for less than $50, tip included, in an atmosphere like that is unheard of. Great food, great prices, great staff.
My first time trying out this Rico’s restaurant and I was disappointed. The quality is no where near the Rico’s on Allegheny. I ordered a chicken burrito and birria tacos. My birria tacos came w no consome but were good. I also ordered a burrito, which was terrible. The rice was gross and tasted like quinoa. There was barely any chicken inside the burrito and upon inspection the chicken looked as bad as it tasted. I will not be ordering from here again. Save your money people and go to Rico’s on Allegheny!
I’m really excited about this place! Great prices for delicious food. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the margaritas were slightly better and I wished they had mezcal and a better ambiance. But other than that, great experience!
