They lost an $80 blazer and refused to do anything about it. The guy later claimed that he checked his so called "Camera system" from the day I dropped off my items. Sounded like a bold faced lie since I was certain I dropped off the blazer with my other items, it was part of a suit! I've been bringing about $50 worth of dry cleaning per week! WTH?

Super nice and professional (plus beautiful plants everywhere inside and out.) Gave me treats for my pup and then saved me when I left something really valuable in the pocket of a jacket. They kept it safe until I was able to retrieve it.

Retry them every 5 years for decades. I go bc they are on the way to grocery. Abrasive, rude, say NO a lot, don’t smile, don’t clean.impossible to break through with minor pleasantries, Even though they the same mom and son that own it, their Shop shredded my $85 polo shirt and didn’t do a thing about it, or take responsibility just said clean at your own risk. Clearly the wire hanger hooks bundled from other shorts had dropped next to it from others hung near it and tore several long gashes.

If you go It’s a hot humid place with no real AC, and great retro old signs, been there since the 90s when I started going, they’re more interested in watering potted plants than fostering good customer care. Although they didn’t water the street tree we got them and it died. They don’t help with the block, they are boarded up upstairs, don’t clean windows or paint, they owned that old omega pizza bldg before wawa and apt bldg went in there and did nothing w it, thank god they sold it, what an eye sore. So is this place. Gorgeous upstairs but vacant. Where’s the stair to even get up there?

Staff is helpful and provides quality service that you would expect from a business on South St. I have been going here over 10 years.

The search is OVER! At last a real dry cleaner in center city that actually does the cleaning in-house! Jake is the best, he also does a great job with hems, etc.

"One Hour Cleaners" is a very misleading, deceptive title. I had a dress shirt I needed washed and ironed and a suit to be dry cleaned for a lunch by the next day (Wednesday) at 11 AM, I walked in at 1 PM on Tuesday and they said they couldn't do it! I asked what the "one hour" meant in their name and they couldn't even tell me which services they offer any 1 hour guarantee on! I'm sure they're a decent cleaners if you aren't on a deadline, but their title seems to promise what they don't deliver. I ended up going to Helen's (Hellen's) Cleaner a few blocks over who promised me a 11 AM pickup.

Poor workmansip on simple seamstress work and they would not warranty the work. Wait that's not the funny part. Then the seamstress and proprietor dared me to do a better job myself and pointed at the sewing machine. I wasn't impolite, but the person before me was:) maybe it left a bad taste. Ill go back if they changed thier policy, otherwise I go around the corner.

They were super helpful, came late saturday morning and they still were able to dry clean a suit by the end of the day. They do recommend coming in by 9 AM for same day service, but were able to help me out this time.

"Response from the owner - in the last week
We run our limited tight productions schedules tuesdays thru saturdays. We sort out different colors & fabrics for each load.if someone brings black pants & white pants you are looking at over 2 hours for cleaning because we can not mix black & white. There is only one dry cleaning machine. So any given time unless you bring in same color garments at same time as i place cleaning in the machine customer have to wait until next same color batch. A problem arise when i promise someone else for special then second person brings special also.unless they are same color garments i have to honor first customer who brought in special. Also there are mechnical failure prevent us to finish on time then we can not promise for special. I am sorry for misunderstaning. "

- Sounds like some weak sauce.
"Also there are mechnical failure prevent us to finish on time" = change your name to -RIM's Get It When You Get It- cleaners

Rim's is a convenient, friendly, and worthy dry cleaner. I had to make a zipper repair on a wetsuit the other day. It needed to be done asap. The owner stopped what he was doing, took the garment from my hands and fixed the zipper in ten minutes right in front of me. For me, it was not 1 hour service, but immediate service. He also only charged me $8 for the work done. Sure, over time you may lose a button or two, but Rim's should be your best bet. It seems to me the other reviewers here were expecting something more than they would receive at any local dry cleaner.
