It’s just cool. We brought our kids years ago, and this time we brought their kids. Think about how thick that ice sheet must have been to carry all those boulders. Thank goodness for global warming!

A nice place to walk and be surrounded by nature. The sound that rocks make when hit with a hammer is very interesting. Parking available and portable toilet next to the parking area.

Nice woodland setting. The rocks ring when struck with a hammer. Picnic area is near parking lot. Rugged trails. Extremely poor signage. Portable toilets

Great experience! Kids loved listening to the ringing rocks. Short walk to rocks from parking lot and short trail to waterfall.

Waterfall was small but it was a dry season. Portable potties for restrooms. Bring your own hammer.

Rocks sound like bells, when hit with a hammer. Go either direction on the trail a very short ways and then walk into the boulder field. Be sure to bring a hammer, pry bar, or something similar.

Went to RR and it was kinda cool. We were on our way to New England and figured why not? It's off the beaten path, way up a hill. Small parking lot and not well defined on where to walk, but we found it. Short walk from the parking lot as well. The field of rocks is very cool. 9 year old boy paradise. Wear good shoes or go bare footed. Old folks should probably watch. An older woman fell trying to climb around.

Incredibly fascinating to see such a massive boulder field and the fact that they ring like a bell if you hit them with a hammer is unbelievable until you hear it. It was a little tough to find the hike to the boulder field from the parking lot but we asked another family and they pointed the way. It can be crowded in the parking area but the boulder is very large. Large rocks to navigate that can be tricky for little ones under 5 without help.

Great place to go with a few hiking trails! The waterfall was great but didn't have as much water flow if had rained a few days earlier but still was beautiful!

Ping on the Rocks, walk the trails, view the amazing formations. Wear sturdy hiking shoes, not sneakers or sandals.
The trails are strewn with various rocks, boulders and tree roots, but worth the hike.

I was there a few years ago and still think about it. I have read quite a lot about it as well. I'm fascinated by the fact that there is really no good scientific explanation for why the rocks "ring. " It's not even an active subject of research in Geology. They just don't know. The most interesting thing is that it looks like the rocks were just dumped there. Literally dropped from the sky. There is no similar formation anywhere nearby.

Great place to go and check out the scenery, obviously it's a big draw in the area but it's not overcrowded, go there on the weekend and enjoy yourself!

One of the coolest parks. So rare and very accessible. Bring good ankle support shoes and a hammer. Restrooms could be improved but it is a park

Short walk from the parking lot, super fun for our groups 3, all around 30 years old. Felt like being a kid again. Bring your own hammer, some hammers worked better than others

This is such a fun place, especially for the kids. Be sure to bring your own hammer or crowbar so you can bang the boulders.

This place is amazing. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Bring a hammer to make music on the rocks. No water at the waterfall. Look at anamaglena on ig or annastravels for videos.

Super cool! The trails are serene, and the atmosphere is very quiet, even with others around. The rocks are fun to climb and there is a lot of beauty to take in.
