Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, Elkins Park PA

Always good. Sometimes the kids there don't know what they are doing but it's a good summer job so it's understandable

The staff seemed sweet but are in need of training. They got my order wrong twice and weren’t sure how pricing worked. I just got tired and ate my wrong order to not belabor the experience. Location seems clean though.

Went to get ice cream with my wife and kids Was explained rudely that they shut ice cream machines down half an hr before closing then the young kid proceeded to slam the window on me

The employees are nice but I think they we're new employees that's why they were so slow but other than that my water ice was great

I ordered the Concrete this evening which is advertised as "custard blended with tasty toppings". That's not what I received at all. I ordered the butter pecan custard with cookies and cream as my topping. I received a water based milk product with chocolate pieces. Nothing of which I ordered. The Ritas team member could've asked what I wanted instead of making her own concoction. There was no verification of what I ordered. The team member basically made what she wanted for me.i arrived home and instantly put the watery milkshake in my freezer

No answer on their phone. Says it’s disconnected. No Uber eats delivery, order placed at 9 and they close at 10. Two items. Social media on Instagram hasn’t been updated in a year. If they’re out of business, then I’ll delete this.

I went to this location to get a water ice on a nice day, when I realized they changed their entire flavor menu full of new flavors I never even see at other locations. When I asked for one sample of cantaloupe and told her if I liked it I’d have that if not I’d take strawberry lemonade, she told me I couldn’t get a sample. I just feel like with flavors like cantaloupe you should sample. And I know Rita’s sample cause I worked at one and they purposely have sample spoons. My experience was terrible and I ended up leaving with anything.

No lines but thats an exception cause this Rita's is popular.good service and although I found the taste of the "new " water ice.the richness Rita's is known for is not same, it was suffice

I did not receive my pretzels yet they took my money. Elkins Park Rita's. Don't shop there!

I would give it zero stars, but I did manage to get a gelati after a very long wait. Unorganized, poorly run and inexperienced staff have made my 3 trips to this location, terrible. Why do you have to ask for spoons and napkins and then wait? Why do you have to explain what goes into an item that is clearly pictured on a sign? It was one of the few places open during the quarantine and I thought they might get their act together. I was wrong. Will not return to that location.

I simply love their dishes. I always get fantastic service here. The place is neat and the staff members are always super nice. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed, i went there on Sunday. The young lady working asked what we wanted (not very professional) i asked for a chocolate water ice and vanilla gelati. She walked away, opened and slammed each water ice cooler, walked back to us and said "we dont have chocolate". I then said well its on the board. At that point i realized it was my fault, they only had chocolate gelati not water ice. So the young lady then walked away.came outside just to point at the board to prove me wrong. Ok my mistake however you need to learn manners and professionalism. Just say "im sorry but that chocolate is for gelati only not water ice". I walked away and did not spend my money there. Hey Rita's.teach your young crew customer service please.or you will lose a lot of money. There was a better ice cream parlor around the corner with exceptional customer service skills.

This is the 3rd time I have been to this location and your vanilla custard is not working. Two or three weeks ago you were out of napkins, and you didn’t have the apple pie blendini. It seems like management is not on top of things. I will from this point go to the fox chase Rita’s. I never have this issue there.

When I walked up, the cashier was in the window eating a custard cone and stared at me as if I was an imposition. She proceeded to put her finger in the cup before serving my water ice. When I asked for a different cup, she rolled her eyes. While she served my second cup, I observed the other worker, who had long braids, replace a water ice tub, and her braids actually touched the inside of the water ice tub. The young ladies were loud, and obnoxious while carrying on personal conversations. Needless to say, I would never come here again. Rita’s simply has too many locations, and it makes no sense to put up with poor service, and unsanitary workers.

The staff is super friendly, quick, and this location offers military discount.they also participate in the Rita's rewards app.
