Rite Aid, McKeesport PA

Given this pharmacy months to get it together. No one answers the phone, drive thru always closed. Out of my meds for 2 days because it was called in but not ready yet. Can't get in touch with anyone. Same thing happened last time.

Went to get booster shot, told I needed appt. Went home and made appt. Came back and was told they are too busy and told to wait. Will not come back here again for anything.

The store itself is clean, well-run and well-maintained and I’m pleased that I can shop in this store since it is not far from my home and has a wide selection. The staff here is generally very helpful and pleasant.

Scheduled covid test 12/26/21 4p.staff wasnt present at the pharmacy and was instructed ro go to white oak location.white oak location said nothing i can do for you go reschedule.just poor communication.

They NEVER have my prescriptions ready when they say will. They are very shorthanded in the pharmacy ALL OF THE TIME! They tell you that is always the problem when scripts aren't ready. Medication I take every single month, after my doctor sends the script over, I call to find out when it will be ready. NOT ONCE have they EVER had enough pills in stock. They always say it will be 3 days. I remind them I cannot go without it and then it is up to ME to call around and find who has them. The script is then sent to ANOTHER PHARMACY and I get it elsewhere. I have decided I simply must change PHARMACIES! I am at wits end. Is it so hard to order a drug ahead of time and have it for a customer that spends over $700.00 per month at an establishment?

Absolute trash. Pay your employees fairly and maybe they'll come to work. Not sure why rite aid knocked out ma and pa pharmacies along with the vitamin shoppe so they can take over when they can't even staff properly. You having 0 employees in multiple pharmacies is not due to the "labor shortage". You are screwing with peoples time and health! You shut down with no notice, no idea when your opening again, cant get through on the phone and people are left without their meds

Had a prescription sent to this location from my primary physician. Waited to hear from them on when to pick it up. Heard nothing for 2 hours so I called. They told me the scrip was for a controlled substance and my physician had an invalid DEA and wasn’t permitted to prescribe it. My physician has prescribed this substance many times before with no problem. Obviously Rite Aid has an issue in their software. Took me a day and a half to get a $5 scrip. Later in the same week, another scrip is called into this location and I call to see if it’s ready. Outgoing message says they’re open til 5. I wait 2 hours and hear nothing back from them. Drive over to find that they closed the pharmacy at 1pm. When I asked the clerk inside about the hours, she said they closed early and sent them to West Mifflin. WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE WITH SCRIPS HERE!
