Rite Aid reviews
18So Today 4/20/23 I went to this location after I had to take my 2 infants to the hospital that sent prescriptions for my infant’s breathing, I get there at 1: 28pm at the drive through with my infants in the car no one came to the window until they shut the inside gate she then tells me that they are closed for lunch break until 2 so I said “Ms Look I have my infants in the car here with me I made it here before 130 what am I supposed to do” she then told me she didn’t care and turned away from me, so I had to park and take my infants out of the car to wait in the store until a store manager asked me what was wrong and she went back into the pharmacy and got my Infants meds so they could breath. I would never treat anyone with children with a medical issue that way.
I placed an order online for store pick up but I decided to give the store a call just to make sure the order went through on their end since it was the first time doing so. According to the gentleman, Jim, on the phone, my order was not showing up on their end. Having worked in retail before (including Rite Aid) I asked to come in if it helped to show them my order. Once in store, I was explained how they were having issues with their order system, which I can understand as I know not everything goes as it should all the time. Jim and Brianna were able to fulfill my order and Jim was extremely nice and helpful. Thanks so much for the help as I really appreciate being able to get the items I needed!
Staff is rude. Walked in to go to to the pharmacy noticed it was closed asked the lady what time they open and she told me 9 with an attitude and continued to do what she was doing. No have a good day, no nothing. As I’m walking out the other lady didn’t say anything to me nor did she greet me when I walked in. It’s 830 in the am and your already miserable…
Arrived at this location at 11: 10 PM on Wednesday 12/21/2022 and was informed by Poindexter (Rite Aid Associate), who rudely stopped me at the door, that they were closed as he shut that afformernioned door in my face before I could say anything. The hours of operation are confirmed on Google, so I drove 30 minutes to this Rite Aid just to be denied service by a former Tri-Lamb president. First and last.
This Rite Aid is by far my absolutely favorite location especially for their Pharmacy. They have 1 pharmacists that is by far THE BEST PHARMACISTS I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH! Her name is Jen and she GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND for her patients! I could not be more greatful and thankful for this woman who makes sure they have all of my medications on time every single month. She works her magic with coupons and discounts to make sure that I get the best price. She will call the drs to obtain new scripts, trigger prior authorizations, call other Pharmacies when they are all out of a medication and it's due to be refilled, will call insurance to work on things, maintains the best communication of any pharmacists I have worked with. I could go on and on but you get the point. Being someone that is on a wide range of medications does become very costly, paying no less than 5k per year for myself. Jen consistently does all she can to help her patients/clients to receive what they need on time and at the best cost for that medication. I'm so greatful because I know too many people out there need life saving medications and so on and they have Pharmacies and their Pharmacists seemingly could care less, give the patient the hardest time and don't do what they should because of their own personal opinions or belief system regardless of what the dr or patient needs or has been on for many years. The Pharmacy Technicians at this location are also awesome. There are 2 in particular that are always so happy to see you, so respectful and non-judgmental of you. They answer any and all questions and if they don't have the answer they will find someone who can answer your questions like the pharmacist on duty. I truly wish that Jen was the only pharmacists at this location because of how incredible she is with all patients.
Tammy is the head pharmacists at this location and she does what she needs to do to fill or refill a patient's medications and is also VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE w/medications and any interactions. I have had some issues in the past with getting my medications filled on time but like all things you need to advocate for yourself and stay on top of things.
I hope this review helps you to make a decision when choosing the right Pharmacy for you!
STAY HEALTHY FRIENDS and GOD BLESS!
Staff are great, but the store is a mess. Never anything in stock when you need it, but always numerous boxes and carts waiting to be placed on shelves. This is an ongoing problem and it makes the store look dirty.
I used to work at the Rite Aid on Morrell plaza for about 2 years, and was working as a shift manager. I would have never acted as unprofessional as the cashier AND the shift manager acted towards me today. I went to this Rite Aid location around 12 pm today where these two older Caucasian women were working. I simply asked the cashier for two 10’s in exchange for a 20, and she was visibly annoyed and said “I can’t open the drawer. ” I asked “can you please call the manager up to the front to help? ” She responded “She’s in the back. ” I repeated, “Can you please call her up to the front? ”
The cashier sighs and walks to the aisle (she wasn’t even in the backroom), and I follow beside her. The cashier tells the “manager” “This girl wants 2 10s and I told her I need you to open the drawer. ” The shift manager is on the floor stocking and says while visibly annoyed as well, “well technically I’m not supposed to open the drawer. ” I said “I used to work at rite aid as a shift manager and managers would give change to people all the time. ” She sighs loudly, doesn’t say anything and continues to stock. I told both of them they’re being unprofessional could’ve been nicer about it and left to Wawa, where a cashier HAPPILY gave me change.
I worked at multiple rite aids (Woodhaven, Linden) and we always would give customers change if they asked. Even if they weren’t allowed to give me change, they could’ve told me NICELY and I would’ve understood. It’s their attitude and lack of customer service that made me write this long review now…it doesn’t cost a dime to SMILE or say “I’m sorry unfortunately I’m not able to open the register. ” I wouldn’t have ever acted that way towards friendly customers who simply wanted change.
My whole family of 6 had a covid test 72 hrs.before, we went on our cruise 5 tests came back one was delayed by 2 days, because it wasn't sent out with the same batch this is totally unacceptable. Don't go to Rite Aid if you need a rapid 24 hour covid test! I had to take the test over again at the cruise site, because the result wasn't back.
Every time I come here to pick up my medication the pharmacist is just extremely rude. You could come in there ask the man how he's doing and he literally just stares at you like you're crazy. I understand being understaffed and whatnot but geez they could at least say hi.
Pharmacy is very slow working and not very pleasant. They need to step up their customer service skills.
Will not shop there ever again. Moving my prescriptions back to Walgreens. Scheduled a vaccine shot for last Tuesday, and despite having the text confirmation from Rite-Aid, I was told I made the appointment for this week. I came back this week, and they told me I changed my appointment to a store in NY and again, I could not get my vaccination done. Shelves are always bare (and this is long before any shipping problems due to the pandemic) and there is always a wait because there are maybe three employees in the store during the day. It constantly looks like it is going out of business and I won't be surprised when it finally happens. I really wanted it to work, I was getting tired of all the programs and add-on services and clinics opening in all the competitors and wanted someone who focused on being a drugstore. Apparently that it is too much to ask for in this day and age.
Took a covid test, still waiting for results. Checked the website, says I was a no show. I am now out of work with what I believe to be a cold, but need a test before returning. Can't get any answers.
My uncle bought hair dye from here. He brought it home and when he opened it up it was already used. He called and spoke to the manager who accused him of already using it and trying to return it. Clearly they do NOT check returned items before putting it back on the shelf. Steer clear of this rite aid.
Nikki is always the most kind and patient employee in the pharmacy. She knows what she’s doing and does it correct and fast. She’s always in good spirits and makes my day. Amazing lady.
Since I live so close by I find myself stopping in at least once a week. Have NEVER once felt with an employee who wasn't amazingly and friendly. Esp Delores
I’ll never come here again! I came in and when I asked a worker Brielle for a product price she said “well, I don’t know” and rolled her eyes making me feel unwelcome. There was no manager in site or I would have reported it immediately afterwards. Drive the extra 3 minutes to Walgreens, not worth it. Clearly I’m not the only one having these issues!
I did not have a pleasant experience, a worker who had a nametag that said Brielle was very rude and disrespectful to me. She gave me an attitude when I asked where a certain product was located and barely helped me find the product, another worker helped me. She made me feel unwelcome to the store and acted as if I inconvenienced her. Next time I’ll chose another rite aid or a different store so I can avoid being treated like that.
L am there to take a passport photo and the camera lost the battery power and the girl who was taking the photo, put the camera down and left without saying anything to me. I thought she has trying to figure it out and actually she just left us alone there.after I waited for a while, i came up to ask where is she, what's going on, they called the manager and the manager switched the battery then took the photo finally.
