The pharmacy is NEVER open on time. 9: 17 still closed and the pharmacist comes trotting in all smiles like yeah I know I know. I try coming in the afternoon they are closed for lunch. They need to do some serious hiring, this is unacceptable.

Awful place to get a prescription verified and refilled.
Called from Friday until The next Thursday and no one ever answered the phones. Went there in person and they were rude and stated they did not receive it. Perhaps if they'd answered the phone call I could have gone back to my doctor and had them verify it before driving over there

Cleanest pharmacy I’ve been in, well stocked, the pharmacist took the time to answer our questions. Cashier was friendly and helpful! Above all they did not rush us through our experience as so many other pharmacies have done.

Years ago, it was nice to have a membership card, you got nice discounts on just about everything. But as the years go by, so does the discounts, the customer service, everything. Yesterday was my last straw. My insurance program has a OTC system where they pay for general over the counter things: generic allergy meds, head ache things, even eye drops.but Not Rite Aid! Oh, they're listed as being in the program, but they refuse to accept the items. Before yesterday, I talked to someone from my healthcare insurance and explained what was happening there. They explained to me that when that happens, they (Rite Aid) could call the toll free # and they would help them program their register to do the right thing. They Refused! No Empathy

SHOCKED & DISAPPOINTED!
I have been shopping at Rite Aid for over 30yrs.and at this very location, over 10yrs. I literally come to this store or the other store located on 6th st, around 5 to 7 times a mth. I can guarantee every time I go to either store, I can spend up to at least $50-$100. Today it so happened that I was closer to the Penn ave location. So my fiance and I brought our things up the register that we were purchasing. So the older woman behind the register (that has been there for many many years.) First off, was very standoffish with us. Usually she's very friendly, says hello.etc. I heard her speaking and laughing to other customers but when we walked up it was a different story for some reason.anyway, she told us our total, it was a little under $80.00, so we had paid for our purchase.she had put a whole bunch of my items in one big bag. Which that whole bag was so over filled, with my items popping out the top, meaning there is absolutely NO room in the bag for nothing else not even a candy bar! Then she hands my fiance our last items (2boxes of cereal) but she had put these 2 boxes of cereal in a thin tiny bag. Where as she is handing over the bag, the bag was literally already ripping, and you couldn't even grip the handles because the boxes of cereal were hanging out top of the bag. He had asked her could he please get a bigger bag because the bag is ripping she has said oh you could put it in the other bag. First off if a customer ask you for another bag how can you deny them that? But regardless, it was totally impossible. We had held up the bag and asked her how? There is no room in this bag! She said the store is trying to save money. And I said yeah well we just spent money so I would like a bigger bag please. So she miserably hands me a bag (*as if she is paying for it out of her pay check) she said well very soon we will totally be done with bags all together. I just couldn't believe how this woman can actually deny a bag to a customer. After seeing the bag was ripping and that the items couldn't even fit in that bag. And then telling us to try to stuff the cereal boxes in the first bag that she way over filled to begin with? !? ! Absolutely ridiculous!

The drinks are always under stacked once in a while isn't bad, but most of the times, it is bad, and all young workers do is standing around, where's that energy? Keep up, imagine when you hit 60. If the shoe fits, is all yours.

Tried to refill my SSRI prescription here as I'm away from my normal pharmacy today. It's my third refill. The pharmacist was extremely rude, refused to fill the prescription because they believed it was the wrong dosage (same one as always), and flat out said they would not call my doctor. I'm out as of tonight, so I'm missing a dose, and I'm going to have to go very early in the morning tomorrow to my normal Rite Aid to get this filled.
Unprofessional, rude, inconvenient, and incompetent. I have never had a pharmacist refuse to fill a SSRI like it's an opiate or something, and absolutely NEVER under the reasoning that they know better than my doctor. Then to just basically shrug their shoulders at me and tell me tough cookies, I'm not going to do my diligence as a pharmacist? Wow, just wow.
Rite Aid, please hire better employees. I'm going to be making this same report to the store manager and corporate, but thank goodness I don't live near this store so I won't ever have to deal with these absolute numbskulls ever again!
