Smores, firepit. Porch, fireplace. Bluetooth speaker. Games, Wine, cheese, breakfast foods, Cozy, comfortable with beautiful views.
Quiet location but a quick drive to town.
We will be back.

My friend and I stayed at the cottage for a girls weekend. It could not have been better. The cottage is perfection. It’s impeccably clean and decorated beautifully. The amenities, fire pit, new hot tub, and pool for the summer time are all you need to spend time relaxing. The surrounding area is wonderful too, there’s the river and nature to explore or the cute town of Milford. And the most important part are your hosts! Kim and Rob are attentive, kind, funny and everything you could ask for in hosts. They provided wine and cheese on our arrival. The fridge is stocked with essentials. They will make reservations for you, start a fire, you name it, they are there to help. They also have other cottages around. I can’t wait to try their other properties too! Perfect getaway!

Rob & Kim were amazing hosts. Super friendly. Very accommodating. Cottage was beautiful & immaculately clean! Completely exceeded our expectations! We had such a wonderful time & can’t wait for July 2021 to go back!

The absolute best! Comfortable, cozy, and well kept with everything you’ll need on hand. Close to everything, but far enough away from everything. We had the perfect getaway. Kim and Rob are great hosts, who go above and beyond to make your stay a special one. We will definitely return in the future.

We had the perfect stay at the River Rail Cottage. My wife and I wanted to have a romantic getaway to spend New Year’s Eve while celebrating our 10th engagement anniversary. The cottage was beautiful in every way. We loved every little detail. Rob and Kim are the best hosts ever, always willing to help and answer any questions. They went above and beyond to make our experience even more pleasant. They left us a bottle of Champagne with glasses in the fridge, breakfast and a Happy Anniversary sign over the window. They were both very sweet and attentive when we met them the next morning. I wanted to get some great shots around with the camera and Kim gave us directions to some of the best spots for beautiful pictures. We also mentioned that we wanted to light a fire in the fire pit on the patio, but we had no idea how to do it. And they instantly told us that they will do it for us, so we didn’t need to worry about Googling anything. We enjoyed a perfect fire while making S’mores for the very first time, with marshmallows, chocolates and cookies that they left for us in the cottage too. And they even lend us a huge cozy blanket to warm us up by to the fire pit. Right before our checkout I flew my drone around the property to get a final footage and the drone got stuck flying down in a treetop. We didn’t know what to do and asked Rob and Kim for help. They immediately called a friend who owes a Sign Company and has a ladder rack truck, and he came to help us right away. It was truly the perfect way for us to say goodbye to 2020 and welcome a new year. We loved our experience and hope to come back soon! These folks deserve five hundred stars, sadly we can only give them five.

My husband and I stayed at River Rail Cottage last summer - it was our first Air BNB experience and we hit the jackpot! Kim and Rob are amazing hosts - lots of perks in our room that was unexpected. Spotlessly clean, cozy and the pool is beautiful. Do not hesitate to book with them.

Kim and Rob truly are exceptional people. First of all, I emailed Kim with some surprise ideas for my wife, as it was our wedding anniversary. Kim set up a candlelight dinner with a local caterer. She also arranged for a picnic backpack that we took on a beautiful scenic hike. I knew before meeting them that we have stumbled onto what would be a great experience.

The cottage itself is the perfect size for 2. It was immaculate. There was not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. In an era of Covid and extra caution, you can tell that Kim and Rob went the extra mile to ensure our safety and health. There were plenty of supplies, paper towels, napkins, etc.

The amenities that were included were above and beyond! There was a bucket of S’mores makings and trail mix waiting for us on the kitchen table. In the fridge, we found a cheese and crackers platter, bottles of milk, juice, water and a bottle of wine! There were also fresh eggs and pancake mix! All the pots, pans and utensils were so clean, we felt extremely comfortable using them. Being a “germaphobe, ” this was a big step for me.they also have a hot tub, a portable speaker to bring outside, electric fireplace inside and a fire pit. Wait, there’s more.a pop corn popper and a nice selection of coffee and tea to choose from.

We spent a lot of time exploring and would recommend checking out their guidebook. It gave us ideas on what to do including High Point, Stairway Lake, Raymondskill Falls, The Tri-State Monument and so much more! By the way, the Tri-State monument is through the graveyard.our little secret.

The hosts’ attention to detail and attentiveness was truly next level. When speaking with them, you can tell they are truly nice people who care about you and made us feel that we were the only guests in the world. They centered everything on us and everything was perfect.

I highly recommend River Rail Cottage.can’t wait to return, hopefully in the summer to enjoy the pool.overall my favorite memories were the picnic backpack hike up to Stairway Lake and relaxing in the hot tub with nice tunes looking up at the stars.

5 stars is not enough for Kim and Rob.they deserve the whole galaxy!

Kim and Rob are fabulous hosts, and we felt at home from the minute we arrived until we checked out! The cottage is adorable and comfortable-it has everything you could ever need. We really had a blast!

Very much as described on the website. Spent the day riding my motorcycle along the Delaware and spent the evening relaxing around the fire. Cottage and property were beautiful. Felt comfortable knowing that my bike was secure in the included garage. That was a big plus for me.

Beautiful picturesque spot right on the river. The owners and staff are amazing, polite and super helpful. My go to spot at least a few times a year!

Rob and Kim were the best hosts we could have asked for. They were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect weekend.

The cottage was clean and was supplied with everything you might need for a weekend in.

The whole property is exceptionally well maintained. As a matter of fact, Rob was cleaning the pool as we pulled up to check in.

Overall, it is obvious that a lot of thought goes into how to make each guest feel right at home as soon as they check in.

We could not have picked a better place or nicer hosts! The cottage was absolutely perfect! Clean, cozy, comfortable and even decorated to enhance our 33rd wedding anniversary weekend. Close to all the interesting places yet off the beaten path and secluded - just how we like it. Kim & Rob are fantastic people and we cannot wait to go back again! The perfect place to stay if you are looking for a getaway in the country. The cottage and the property are beautiful and located close to plenty to see and do.

River Rail Cottage is a beautiful getaway. Nestled in the Pocono Mountains, this charming cottage feels like walking into "after" scenes of home redecorating shows. I can't wait to come back, and I certainly don't want to leave! We are already planning our next trip here! What a breath of fresh air Kim, the caretaker, is, along with every little detail that she has put into this special place!

This cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. Great local hiking trails and a lovely river access where you can sit and watch the sun go down over the Delaware. Highly recommended!

I loved this cottage! It's newly renovated. Everything is pristine and immaculate. It's so cozy and warm. I wish I could live there! Behind you are the mountains, in front of you is the river. The grounds are gorgeous, with a natural fed pond and very cool fire pit. I could go on and on. If you are looking for quality and tranquility stay here. You won't be sorry!
