Rivers Casino Garage reviews
10On non event days not a problem but charge $65 on a game day. Too high as you spend money there before and/or after the game. Suggestion: give a discount for patrons.
Awful.
The garage charges $80 for special event parking.
There are no traffic control officers.
So once the special event ends (eg.football game) the thousands of cars cannot exit the garage safely and orderly.
For $80 to park for a four hour event, and then literally be stuck inside the garage for hours afterward is entirely unacceptable.
This is also an inherent safety hazard.
Moreover, the garage lists that it has two EV charging stations. There are none to be easily found on any floor.
Finally, the garage allows parking for special events that attract minors, but does not allow visitors to exit the garage using the elevators because all elevators open into the casino.
This means walking flights of stairs in a ten story garage.
Poorly designed for special event days, unsafe, overpriced. The price alone probably draws in $50,000-$100,000 extra revenue. Why would there not be officers hired to help manage the traffic?
Note that for non-event visits, with 21+ age adults on less than busy days, the garage is great. Free, close, quick.
However under special event circumstances, it is awful
Hands down one of the worst parking garages in the world 80$ to sit there for 2 hours before you get out of your spot
Parked here for the Steelers game. $80! I had called prior since I had a minor going with me. I was told that they couldn't go through the casino, however we could still park and that they had stairs leading to the outside. I made sure the door leading to the outside was unlocked once we left the parking structure, however, once we walked back, ALL the outside doors were LOCKED. Thank God I had my dad with me, since I had to walk through the casino to get to the garage. They stayed outside while I walked through. Then I walked down the 9 flights of stairs to open the outside door so they could get to the car. Only for that to take almost 2 HOURS to get out of the parking garage. It's a nightmare exiting after a huge event. And don't park there if you have a minor.
Stayed here for Steelers v 49er game! Amazing, beautiful, clean, comfortable, fun, easy walk to stadium! Will return!
It's a normal parking garage. I feel it's totally safe. Never had an issue or heard about any issues. It's free as long as there is no events. But you can park here for free for events at PNC Park and Heinz field with the coupons the casino will send you by signing up. $50 event charge for parking with out the coupon. They really should have signs telling people it's $50 to park for events. Lots of people have to turn around and it slows the flow of traffic going into garage.
Rivers casino is ripping people off I will never go back to this casino again all they do is take but don't pay save your money people its not worth going down there play some where else cause this place is just trying to get rich off of us.
Tricky getting into it because of the sharp turn from the street and separate lanes for Valet and Self Parking, but otherwise we'll laid out. It's also free, that makes it a bargain!
DO NOT PARK HERE FOR STEELERS GAME. Event rate is high but worst of all is time to leave garage at end of game… took 90 minutes to exit garage.
Worst parking you can get for a Steelers game. Parked on 7th level and sat in the same spot for an hour and fifteen minutes after the game ended.
