Riverside Park reviews
7It's a small park, just a strip along the Susquehanna River. The playground equipment is outdated but really nice views of the river and bridge.
Stopped for grabbing a bite on the way to watkin glens state park, stunned by the views. Peaceful place for kayaking and rowing. There are no restrooms in this park. Reasonable amount of parking.
Not much to do but there is a Pavillion some fields some benches & a little play area with the slide jungle gym thing.
First time to this park today and it seemed unkempt. While we were trying to find the walking trail, we came up on a small playground that was overgrowth weeds. The slide had graffiti all over it, and 2 of the 3 swings for big kids were broken. We left because the dogs were overheated, but the park definitely needs some TLC. The benches seemed excessively worn. Maybe the trails are nicer but we couldn't locate them. It seemed that area may have been blocked by some tree trimmers.
Beautiful area, playground not so much. Broken slides, swings, overgrown grass. Upsetting because it could be very nice.
It's a nice clean place to visit it seems as though they take very good care of the picnic area's and down by the river seems to be always clean no garbage laying around and the people that go there are always pleasant.
Lovely park you could either be around people or go off and have just a lovely day by the river very quiet does have potholes but it’s a really great park
