My husband and I went there for a golf fundraiser for the first time. I walked to the River, saw some deer and went shopping. The Riverview Bar has the nicest bar maid. Thanks Kathy. (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) for talking to me, charging my phone, giving directions to the mall and mostly for being super nice!

Always a fun place to play. The layout is outstanding; overall maintenance is very good. With all the rain we've had this seasons the rough is a little rougher and the greens a little fuzzy, slower than optimum. But, overall, Riverview is a great place to spend a few hours in a beautiful setting.

Super nice public course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in great shape and the staff was all super friendly. Pace of play for us (8am on a weekday) was excellent and we finished in just the right amount of time. Liked it so much, we made another tee time in the proshop before we left. Lunch options were plentiful and the food was pretty good.

NO STARS would be the appropriate rating for our BAD EXPERIENCE at Riverview Country Club
Checked out their wedding venue in January 2021 – nice room, nice views, confident event coordinator, so we booked our daughter's wedding reception for late 2022.
Over several months we dealt with 5 different event coordinators.
Misinformation, broken promises, lame excuses with new promises, blame placed on prior coordinators, in the end, we felt like we were lied to over and over.
New event coordinator was hired (#4 that year?) – an experienced and professional coordinator to handle our event and she seemed to have her act together and working to improve events at Riverview, so we put our trust in her.
Food tasting was in March '22 - a chance for Riverview to put their best foot forward and impress everyone (about 15 couples/families) - it was a disaster for us: *the tables were not set, no silverware or napkins on the tables, *they brought a dinner plate of assorted appetizers for our table of 10 to taste, we didn’t enjoy them and were not sure what some of them were, *the lantern on our table as a 'centerpiece' was dusty, *the bathroom was dirty, *the entrees and sides were served buffet style but nothing was labeled, *food was too salty and did not taste good to anyone at our table. We spoke with other attendees and many were also disappointed, we heard others discuss how to move their weddings somewhere else, this was disturbing!
Sal Panto appeared to be a last minute fill-in as ‘host’. It was at the food tasting that we found out that the event coordinator left, (the one we trusted) and the chef was gone. Announced that there would never be a long line of people waiting at the bar during an event, but as he said this the long line at the bar was getting longer! The tasting event had just over 100 people, how would they handle an event with 150+ people?
Bottom line, Riverview was unprepared and the place was dirty - a food tasting event for wedding receptions is when they should impress potential customers, not scare them! We were told that event coordinator #4 left 2 weeks prior to the food tasting, the chef was new, they just hired yet another cleaning crew, and they scheduled staff for the food tasting, but employees didn’t show up - they had no back up plan.what if this day was the actual wedding &reception?
In my opinion, this place is mismanaged, unprepared, understaffed and they have no backup plans or staff.
After the food tasting we requested a refund. We had given them enough chances. Riverview's current event coordinator (#5), told us she would pass on our request and that if the date we originally booked is rebooked we would most likely get our money back. No results. We called several times repeating our request for our money back, we asked to speak to an owner - no return calls, no refund, and yes, Riverview rebooked the date and had a wedding-reception there on the date we originally booked. We still have not received a call back or an email about our concerns or refund.not even an apology.
I would not book any type of event there.

Nice little course. Some straightforward holes and some that make you scratch your head. Yardage markers would be nice. Bring your A game!

Very nice layout. Lots of dog legs makes it interesting and you need to think your shot through. Plenty of challenges. Good variety. Conditions are good despite the lack of rain right now. Greens are consistent.

BRIDES BEWARE. RUN from this place. We attended a tasting, that we PAID for last March. The tasting was a horrible experience, and that is is an understatement. My DIL has asked for specific foods to accommodate some diet restrictions. We were promised we would get them by the coordinator. This did not happen. They had a tiny buffet with random food, we had the same tasting with over 100 other people at the same time. The foods we requested specifically to taste with the coordinator were not there. The tiny sample of appetizers were not marked, so we had no idea what we were tasting. There was no bartender until Sal went behind the bar. The line was very long for a drink. The place was not clean that day. Who does a tasting with over 100 people? Our in-laws posted a review and were offered their deposit back, (which they were promised was processed, but they never got it) IF THEY TOOK THEIR REVIEW OFF HERE. Proof is posted on their review here. The tasting was so bad, the next day we were out looking for another venue. Found a wonderful venue and had a fantastic experience elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother to check this place our for major events and weddings.

We just concluded the 27th playing of the Penn Masters Golf Championship at Riverview Country Club in Easton, PA with 2 rounds and over 100 players. The course and staff are 5 stars indeed.great views, great sand, great turf quality.watch out for hole #13 - a breathtaking and incredibly challenging par 5.but most importantly beyond the course itself, Kevin and Joe Wagner made our large group feel incredibly welcome and at home. Simply a 'must play' when visiting the Lehigh Valley!

Senior rate $42with cart seems reasonable but it is only March - greens so slow and bunkers looked untouched. No rakes. Some understood for time of year. Cart path only? Seems unnecessary as it’s not wet No wonder few people were out. But the guy riding around and complaining for - a wheel of golf cart on the grass seems a bit ridiculous. Very rude. Nice layout but there are other courses at same cost in better condition with nicer people workin there. Pass on playing again

Went there for a friend's wedding. Beautiful setting, nice setup.
The catering company presented well and the event was a success.

I waited too long to write this review for Riverview Country Club.
If I had done my due diligence and written this sooner I may have been able to save another bride the heartbreak, stress and anguish that I suffered.
We had an initial meeting with Jen the wedding consultant for Riverview; she said all the right things; making promises she had no intention of keeping. We booked the venue with the highest hopes. There was a consultant change, it was then disclosed to us that what Jen told us was deceptive. Turns out everything she said was a lie. We held onto the fact that it was still a nice venue and the service and food would be decent. Another consultant change and things don't get better. We called and emailed numerous times to verify details NEVER getting return calls or email.
Then comes the tasting in March 2022 (after being put off MANY times) for our June wedding; yes only 3 months. The tasting day was a disaster! I cannot stress this enough. Frankly there was nothing right. The venue was not clean, it was not organized there seemed to be no one that knew what was going on. We were just left to look around at each other with no direction on how the event should be running. Mr. Panto finally got on a microphone and spoke about the venue and made additional promises that apparently couldn't be kept.
The tasting WHICH WE HAD TO PAY A FEE PER PERSON; was supposed to have a bar opened and staffed; there was a bar with no bartender. The tasting was supposed to showcase all of the food selections so that you could make choices, it did not. A plate of 8 pieces of something resembling appetizers was practically thrown on our table with not so much as a card to let you know what anything was. It didn't really matter whatever it was did not taste good. Each choice was encompassed in dough; none of us at the table could attempt to decipher what any of them were. The main buffet was no better; it was tiny, with only a small fraction of choices. We attempted to make a plate at the buffet, only to find no food left and at least 5 more tables had yet to get up and make their way to the food.
The disorganization was just appalling. This is supposed to be a once in a lifetime event that you put your trust into them to handle with elegance. With the cost of a wedding at Riverview you have expectations to be able to depend on the venue and the people they employ to make sure things are done correctly.
We heard everyone around us getting upset and grumbling. I also got very upset at their ineptness and inability to showcase any strengths for a small fraction of what our wedding would be. I spoke to numerous people that day that said they would be canceling and looking elsewhere. I do know of one bride that while she cried through the tasting and her future in-laws were appalled, she went ahead with the wedding at Riverview because she didn't have the funds to start over; needless to say she was terribly disappointed.
My wedding was only 3 months away. I called to speak to someone about canceling and even though the contract says that they would only keep the original down payment if there was a cancellation they refused to refund the 2nd payment that I made of $5000 they chose to keep that I was not able to have refunded. I called and emailed countless times never getting return calls or emails from anyone I attempted to contact.
I hope that any couples checking out this venue read this and don't lose their hard earned money to a place like this that will only steal your money and ruin your wedding day.

At the end of the day I got to marry my husband and I am happy about that. However, looking back, I wish I would have chosen a different venue for my reception. Not only was there a severe lack of communication, but much of what I was told would happen, didn't happen. Getting married in December, a week before Christmas, we were hoping the use the fireplace, which is the main attraction of Riverview Country Club. We were told repeatedly that the fire would be on. So much so that we decided not to invite children in the family so the parents wouldn't worry about their kids and the fire. When we were introduced into the reception hall, we were both greatly disappointed to see the fire place not on. They told us during the reception that they don't turn it on because the room gets too hot; something they did not tell us before. We also asked to have the heating stands on outside but we're told they wouldn't do that because the propane is expensive, even though we paid thousands of dollars to use their facility. (There was no change in price even though it was off season so we could not enjoy the benefits of RCC) When they eventually agreed to having them on, we arrived to find that there was nothing on the back patio for our guests.
There was no coat rack for our guests, so they draped their coats over their seats. I asked weeks in advanced for them to provide a coat rack. We were told they were taking care of it.
The cake was not even slightly displayed where we requested it to be displayed. No one was able to see the cake cutting. We don't even have photos of it.
In short.if you want a stress-free wedding, go elsewhere.
