Riviera D'Italia / Dolce Luna Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria reviews
16New owners but nothing changed about the food. Still great neighborhood pizza and Italian food. They did add tacos to the menu, which are worth trying
As always the service was great as is the environment & the food was perfect. I dine here often & I've never been dissatisfied.
I ordered a cheesecake. With salt and black pepper and ketchup. When I get the receipt I see an additional charge. I asked what it was. They told me, "pepper is extra! "
I hope they gave me a good amount of shakes. Did they give me two I hope it was three shakes. Either way you shouldn't charge for condiments and standard seasoning.
I'm never coming back. You shouldn't either.
The Riviera came as a recommendation from Hillside Cemetery for a funeral luncheon and what a great recommendation it was!
The front dining room was bright and airy. It was the perfect spot for our family and friends to share wonderful memories.
The food was amazing and our server Shelly was fantastic. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely drop in for a bite to eat. I gave it a well deserved 5 stars. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make it a wonderful experience!
You can’t even taste the sauce on the pizza basically horrible Mexican food on an Italian menu? Well that says it all new owners left and right serving really bad tasting food it’s sad this Italian food restaurant is now ruined
Can't go wrong with this place. The new owners are doing a great job. We got delivery from WingStop a few weeks ago and they forgot half our order, so I was like, "Should've just called Riviera. I'll call them now. " They are reliable and have great food made with love. And omg their fries. Idk what it is. They are simple fries, nothin fancy.but the crunch and the soft potatoey inside is just *chef's kiss*. I find myself craving their fries a lot lol their cheesesteak are really solid too, as is their pasta. Just an all around great neighborhood place.
Always satisfied! The people who work here are fantastic and friendly! 5 stars hands down! Easily my favorite place to eat.
Update: What happened to this place? Ordered from here yesterday and food was terrible! They must’ve changed owners… I don’t think I’ll be returning. So sad because this was my go-to pizza place!
Hands down amazing food. New Owners! Came in with my kids and sister, service was great such a sweet girl, very attentive since we walked in. Am a New Yorker so we love our slice of pizza or a nice huge gyro and let me tell you that hit the spot. The flavor is great different and unique and thats very important in the industry of a restaurant! The whole staff are very friendly very attentive. Definitely deserves a 5 star definitely coming back with my husband and friends I truly recommend this place feels like home.
I don’t normally tend to do things like this but I had to write a review for this hidden gem. The food was amazing! The staff was really friendly as well made me feel right at home. Will definitely be back!
Wel, placed my first order since Sal left. Ordered two pizzas. One plain one pep both extra chrispy. Got a paper thin pep the old flavor is gone. The plain was Sicilian and hardly Christy. Time to find a new place. The other night we ate a meal there. Use to get a lot of shrimp on what we ordered. This time 4 shrimp. Bye Bye
I went to Riviera D'Italia on Sunday 6/26/22 for a celebration of life luncheon and it was perfect. The self serve buffet was set up with plenty of delicious foods and majority vegetarian options. The menu selections were great. Selections were eggplant and carrot stirfry, roasted potatoes, baked ziti, chicken marsala and in my opinion the award winning eggplant parmesan. Along with these entrees were bruschetta and Caesar salad served with drinks of your choice. Food was and is tasty and filling (still eating left overs). Good amount of food left over and restaurant provided containers for everyone to take food home. We were given plenty of space and privacy. The servers were friendly and within eye sight at all times, consistently smiling and provided excellent customer service. I thoroughly enjoyed myself as well as other guest. They offer booth seating and long/short table seating which went well for intimate space/big groups with easy movement and great atmosphere. Looking forward to returning for the eggplant parmesan. Thanks Riviera D'Italia for everything. Keep up the great work!
Excellent food, I like the place because it has a warm environment for couples and family
The food is fresh made to order. I ate there with my friend and I also ordered to go.
The food is ready on time as they promised
Riviera D’Italia is the greatest pizza shop in the world. The employees are so nice, especially Pete, Sal, and Bridget. My favorite slice they serve is the BBQ chicken, or as I like to call it, pash in the post. If you are in the Abington area, “Riv” is a must stop!
Riviera has been a solid choice for a quick slice of pizza for a long time. I grabbed a couple slices of the “grandma pizza” the other day and really enjoyed them. If you find yourself in Roslyn and want a solid slice, stop in to Riviera.
Have not been there in 25Yrs since moving away from the area. The still are as good as there were back them. Keep it up Sal!
Delicious food, friendly staff. Lasagna and fettuccini alfredo were great. Went back for lunch and they also make a decent Italian hoagie and cheesesteak. BYOB as well!
