R+L Carriers reviews
10Very poor service and terrible experience, driver was not smart enough to delivery on a death-end street.even when I told them they can make it because I received many deliveries in big trucks.
A NIGHTMARE of an experience!
R+L Carriers provided an extremely disappointing delivery "service". Arrogance, incompetence and inconsistency are simply a few words to describe the values of this company. I would not recommend anyone use this delivery company. Use someone else, anyone else. You will regret choosing them.
Was shipped a truck fender through this company. Needless to say it arrived damaged. It traveled 160 miles and in one of the 3 terminal stops along the way someone unloaded it and I’m assuming backed over it with a forklift. The pallet was busted up. I rejected the shipment and it was sent back. It was a very rare paint code and I looked for one for 11 months. Still looking for one by the way. It’s impossible to get through to customer service.
Terrible customer service. I had an LTL sit in their system for two weeks and got multiple different stories on "why it couldn't be picked up". I ended up switching carriers as they had no care in the world about the issue.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service was poor and they were very unreliable with the delivery (they gave a time frame for arrival, but they did not show up until well after the time frame). They did this to my company twice, which wasted my time and my employees' time as we waited around to unload the delivery. I will not use this company in the future.
Only work here if you want no life during the week. They say 10 to 12 hours more like 12 to 14. The cards they hand out say new equipment, if a 2007 mack is new than I guess that's true. You get back at 1830 from Binghamton NY or Williamsport PA and have to go out again. The second you leave the yard the drivers that are running an hour closer start magically coming in, and the dispatcher either knows and is ignorant or too dumb to realize it. Also they are so cheap that you need to buy your own pallet jack which they conveniently forget to tell you in the interviews. Yet they have enough money to sponsor a college bowl game. I'd look elsewhere if you want to do local p and d.
Scheduled a shipment, never came to pickup the piece. Just called to have a delivery scheduled but they can't deliver to our correct address. Absolutely clueless company. Great drivers, terrible customer service.
I read a lot of the reviews prior to getting my package and was very worried. Today I called the shipping company and my package was due to be at its location at between 1-2pm and it was there AT 1pm. Very professional and would definitely work with them again.
I read reviews on this company before I received my engine shipment and saw how bad the reviews were. I have to say, the man who delivered it to me was very nice. He came to the door and rang the bell. My friend had a trailer ready for when it was unloaded so that part went good. The reason for 4 stars was that I didn't get a call before the driver came. Maybe he forgot. But anyhow. Very nice.
Drivers don't seem very smart They get in the passing lane before A hill beside another truck then slow race up the hill at 50 miles an hour blocking traffic in both lanes
This creates a hazard backing up traffic and is also illegal the left lane is for passing
I think they need to train their drivers better on safety and courtesy
