Robbins Park Environmental Education Center reviews
4Wonderful. Easy trails. Mature beech oak hickory forest with intact understood. Bird blind, composting info, educational garden, native plant garden, meadow, stream, bog & Creepy Pond
Been going to Robbins Park since I was in elementary school @ Thomas Fitzwater in the 90s. Made some amazing core memories there and it will always be my intro to environmental education.
We really enjoyed this unique park! We had a picnic at a picnic table. Toured the veggie garden. Kids played in the children’s natural play area and we took a walk on the paths. We saw a deer, cottontail rabbit, minnows and a crawfish! There is a TON of poison ivy everywhere not just off the trail. The map location is incorrect. The narrow driveway was difficult to locate off such busy road. There is a large sign but it blends in.
A peaceful place to walk. Lots of pretty flowers and blooming trees this time of year.
