I don't know why we keep giving this company another chance. So far we've purchased four items that cannot be used because of damages. Another family member purchased a pergola for $200 and it was damaged so badly they could not use it. Last night we purchased a dresser that we DID go view and they had the instructions for the dresser taped and wedged in a drawer over the front of the dresser. I didn't want to remove it because it was pretty permanent. I just assumed that it was their way of keeping the instructions with the piece. When we got it home tonight we pulled the paper off and there was a huge chunk of the drawer missing! In our eyes, it was very intentional, and very strategic. $165 down the drain. I know the auctions say "as is", but they also advertise that they are transparent about damages, but after tonight I would say that is completely false. If you advertise transparency then you shouldn't be covering blemishes with that items instruction sheet. I caution you, if you do choose to buy something, go look at it and be sure you check out every nook and cranny. We have gotten a few items that were functional, so I will share that. But I personally couldn't sleep at night if I knew I was taking people's money for items that I knew were broken. I don't care how you advertise it. That just isn't right.

I have bought dozens of items from Rockey Auctions and am always pleased. You’re buying items that are as is, they have preview days to go in and inspect so do your homework for larger or expensive items. I have saved THOUSANDS of dollars buying items from them. Highly recommend them!

This company says it doesn't omit or hide damage on items yet they posted 5+photos of a tool from ONE SIDE and hid that the other side was completely ripped apart. I urge ALL complaints of their business go through the FTC so they can be investigated for dealing in bad faith

Buy at your own risk. Pick up windows are extremely annoying. Shipping quotes are preposterous.

These auctions offer an opportunity to grab some fantastic deals. Be smart, do your research on the items and know what you are or should be looking for. They offer opportunity to go see the items, take that advantage on higher ticket items. I have been very blessed to have found some fantastic deals. The staff is very nice and helpful.

You know, y'all had me thinking it was my fault, for not inspecting your products. No, it was my fault for having faith in humans. You're disgusting. YOU take it upon yourself to inspect YOUR product, none of this 'as-is' cop out, nonsense. Take pride in your work. I'm ashamed of you, to see sooo many other people having the same experiences as me. Why is it so hard to filter out the quality for 18%?

Think about that. You literally offer broken things, in hopes two people won't know any better, and bid high. Have a separate auction for your broken stuff, and maybe people will make an honest bid, on an item for parts. Gee, maybe then, you'll have more consistent, better bids on quality items. Until then, I hope you feel we're gone.

Very disappointed used tape that ruined valuable boxes. Stated that item was new unopened when in fact the item was taped shut. Make sure you preview these auctions or you will be disappointed.

I went there to help my daughter pick up an online auction order. There were hundreds of others there for their orders. There was minimal parking and we stood waiting for her items for over almost 2 hours. At one point I returned to the car to get warm because it was so cold and I was tired of standing. It just seemed like total disorganization. Someone needs to take a look at what can be done to streamline this operation. I know I'll never bid on anything that has to be picked up at the New Columbia site. Milton pick up site is a little less chaotic. I do a lot of online bidding, but of all the auctions I follow, this is the only one with an exorbitant 18% buyers premium. I've gotten to the point where I don't even look at what they post anymore unless I'm desperate to check out an auction, which most times I'm not.

The 18% buyers premium is insane. Starting bidding several years ago. Went away for 8 months and came back to a terrible experience. I gave it a chance and waited close to 2 hours. I was expecting to wait more and apparently I ended up getting my ticket picked before some of the people waiting prior to my arrival. I suggested to the owner several times… let us pull the smaller items and have someone stand by the door to check off people. The others can focus on handling larger items. Im sure there is a more efficient process.

Great deals! Always buying from here as well as family. Furnished cabin for airbnb and lots of home. They move alot of product and alot of people buying every week. Inspection is important and as stated by staff continuously. Keep up the great work and I always look forward to each one. I know and can see you are bettering things every week. Great job to all!

March 9th. I have bid on a purchased items and pallets and the past and this will be my third time. Unfortunately all three times from disappointing. The first lot I purchased a few tools and two out of three were broken. There was a breaker bar that the end of the bar was missing so it was just a metal bar. Today was the third time from me purchasing and it was ridiculous. I purchased 8 skids. Some was flooring but there was three supposed to be giant untouched boxes from home Depot and Amazon returns. Most of the boxes weigh less than 5 lb and we're over size to fill space in the skid. I opened them up at home and there are six yoga mats. Three or four picture frames with no picture. I spent almost $600 for large weightless objects. And what really gets me is I spent two days researching his website for the skids that we're going to be on auction and when the time came to sell those I spent my money on the things that he said would be posted and then all of the sudden 20 huge new skids came out from nowhere with stack ten feet high with new boxes of items. I would have loved to know that these were going to be up for auction because I would have saved my money and not bought the the skids with nothing in them.

I've been here quite a few times, however, after this last time I won't be returning. I purchased a dewalt battery, paid over $50, brought it home and of course it doesn't work. Purchased some gemmy inflatables for Christmas advertised in original box and I wasted nearly $400 bc every one had major tears (beyond repair). I find this to be nothing more than a ripoff.

I have purchased items from this auction in the past and had no issues. Recently the pick up process is terrible. I waited for 2 1/2 hours to pick up my items. They have 5-6 people gathering the lots working at a snails pace. They need a different process for pick up. Research other auction company’s work flow. Perhaps gather large lots prior to pick up, have separate lines for large lots and small lots. My time is valuable, I realize I choose to participate in the auction but 2 1/2 hours to wait is ridiculous. Then to see the owner leave at 430 when there are over 50 people waiting does not sit well with me. His response is “maybe we will add a food truck”, more money in his pocket. Won’t be participating in auctions in the future.

I have to agree the change to have their employees pick items you won has been a complete disaster, this week it took over 2 hours to get 4 items. Not to mention trying to figure out if the item is even good or has all the parts too. Yeah I know come look at or try it out, another waste of time. Good luck is all I say.
