Rocky Springs Camp Ground, Mercer PA

I absolutely love this place. My spouse and I found Rocky Springs during a weekend getaway a few years ago. We were so impressed with the campground we came back for a season-long spot. It’s that nice. The owners work tirelessly to accommodate campers and take care of the campground. It’s a huge campground with numerous trails. It’s EXTREMELY safe, and the fellow campers are all wonderful. Rocky Springs is very pet friendly. My only complaint is with the bath houses - they are cleaner than my bathroom at home! Love Rocky Springs!

My wife and I have been to this campground 3 times in just over a year. Privately owned. Good mix of shade and sun filled sites. We absolutely love it here. Our site for this trip was incredible. Walked out our campside door and had a beautiful field and woods view. Very quiet. The sun came up over the trees and was picture perfect. The camp has had many updates like new gravel for some of the the sites and new electric. They are constantly looking to improve things for the seasonal and vacationing guests. Already booked our next trip.

I tried to book a long weekend and the woman I spoke to was very unprofessional and unpleasant. The campground was fully booked for the weekend I wanted. I asked if there was a cancellation (even a last minute cancellation) if they could call me and I would take it. The woman was short and refused to even consider my request. She acted like I was inconveniencing her with my business.
I will never consider this campground in the future.

My husband and I have been coming to this campground multiple times a year for 11 years and we both can say this campground is beautiful! Sites are very spacious and level. The natural beauty there is so peaceful. We love watching the chipmunks play. Their pool is also very nice. Thank you Rocky Springs for always a great time!

The camp itself was well taken care of - this from my son and his wife’s family that checked in a day before we were expected. The interaction experiences with the owner were so negative that we decided to call an audible and go to the KOA that was close. At one point when discussing adding two older women a grandmother and great grandmother, she, the owner, called me immoral because I suggested if it was that huge a deal for the other campers-she felt it was- just don’t mention that we waited until the morning we were coming to try, instead of when we booked, to add additional people.
My thought is that they are much more comfortable with long term campers that they know, but nothing really can explain, or excuse, the experience. Our family has camped for years, 30 plus, and have never had to give a bad review.

This campground is amazing. It has large, level sites with plenty of trees. There is a clean bath house and laundromat. The store is well stocked with all the necessities and the seasonal pool is nice. The owners maintain the property daily. It was so peaceful, we stayed for 3 months!

Horrible ownership. I have never experienced such an unwelcoming, rude and downright mean campground owner. If you are looking for a place to bring your family and she does not know you personally, do not come here. It’s a shame because the site is nice but no campsite is nice enough to be worth the treatment my family received. Also worth mentioning- I have been camping for over 30 years and have NEVER left a negative review for any campground- even if we didn’t love our experience. I don’t take negative reviews lightly because they can affect someone’s business. These owners do not want new camp-goers. We ended up packing everything after one night with our three small children just to get out of there. We went to the KOA in Mercer and they were much nicer.

The campground is well maintained! Spacious sites! Owners are very personable and made us feel welcomed! It is so peaceful camping there!

Horrible customer service. Do not give them your business. If zero stars was available, that would be my review. The owner was awful and I’m sure that she will give a spiteful reply.

Another great weekend at Rocky Springs. Owners are always so welcoming and are sure to make your stay a pleasant experience. The cleanest campground around. See you next year!

You have the most rude front office staff or whoever answer the phone today at 4: 10pm.i was inquiring about available site after memorial day weekend, she answered me no.i was supposed to asked again what other dates will be the available date and she hang up on me. I called again, same person answered, i told here i was about to asked you another question and you hang up on me, she answer “ok”. So i asked again if when there will be available site 2nd week of September or anyday on September, she answered we are fully book, and she said bye bye and hang up.not sure if you are busy or what, but there is no friendly customer service in you!

Enjoyed our stay here. Although the entry at first seems tight, we made it easily with our 45’ motorhome. Pool, catch and release pond, and store……. Friendly owners too.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Rocky Springs. Spacious campsites in a beautiful shaded area. Very quiet and peaceful throughout the whole campgrounds. We will be coming back to this one!

Beautiful quiet area and sites are perfect. Full hook up setup is one of the best I’ve seen. Clean, in great condition and efficient. If back I’m the area will certainly come back.

When we started camping with a travel trailer, this was the first campground we went to and it’s the standard that we hold other campgrounds to. If you can’t relax here, then you never will.

Owners are awesome! Very peaceful campground and everyone treats you like family. Who ever loves going camping you should check it out you won't be disappointed. (Love this place)
