Rocky's Hair Salon, Phoenixville PA

They rushed so much they missed cutting huge spots of my hair. Im actually at another salon getting it fixed. So instead of paying them and then another place i recommend just going to another place and save your money.

Update to add- I moved to Virginia and this is still the worst haircut I ever received.

I rarely have my hair done professionally (once a year or less) and write reviews even less frequently.
I had THE BEST experience with Rocky's this week- they fit me in last minute for a cut and color, the atmosphere was so cozy, and Patty did a phenomenal job with my hair. I'm already looking forward to going back!

I couldn't be happier! Rocky made my dreams come true with the PERFECT balayage! Rocky made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door and truly cared about what I envisioned for my hair. Rocky sat with me, talled through options for what I wanted, and discussed the pros and cons to the photos I showed her. As a fulltime student that works fulltime, I have a certain budget to maintain. Rocky was beyond understanding and worked within my means to give me the hair style I truly wanted. My hair looks absolutely amazing! Thank you to Rocky for the amazing hair and to the entire staff for the warm welcome and for feeling like part of the family while I was there. Just got back from my second visit ever to Rocky’s and I am sooo happy with my hair! Patty was so friendly and sweet and welcomed me as soon as I walked in and talked me through the entire process. She knew exactly what my hair needed and I am so happy with how it turned out when I usually leave in tears. Thank you so much Patty - I will be back!:)

My partner (trans man) and I chose this salon after they assured us on the phone that they are gender affirming. While the haircut itself has been average and okay, my partner has never been asked his pronouns, and was most recently shaved (facial) without consent. This experience was very triggering, made him feel stripped of his identity, and resulted in feelings of shame and gender dysphoria. I would hope going forward that the staff can practice more discretion and challenge their assumptions by asking for pronouns and for permission before providing certain services. I would advise anyone in a similar situation to be very explicit about what you do not want, or they don't seem to ask and will do things they think are best on their own.

She always takes care of my kid and gives him a great cut. He gets excited to go get his hair cut. This is a wonderful place to bring your children where they are treated like family

The staff at Rocky's are always so gracious and welcoming! 10/10 will recommend Rocky's every time.

This is one of the rare gems in Phoenixville! Patty is a master stylist with a great personality. The prices don’t break the bank and they are all so friendly and helpful. A definite go to again and again!

After ignoring and neglecting my hair for a while, I finally decided to try out Rocky's hair salon. I'm always uneasy and nervous in salons, but Patty made me feel like I came home for Sunday breakfast. She was so sweet to everyone in the room. Corrie was also so sweet! I felt very relaxed and like I could trust Patty would take care of me. My hair looks and feels fantastic. I gave Patty a rough idea of what I wanted and she NAILED it.

I was able to get a same day appointment when I called in and didn’t have to wait when I got there. Highly recommend, will ONLY be getting my haircut here from now on.

First of all, I love the name Rocky. My wife won't let me name our son Rocky unfortunately, but that's another story.

I was able to get a list minute appointment with Rocky, which was helpful in preventing me from looking like a caveman over the holidays. It was a great experience overall, warm personality, attentive and of course the cut turned out great!

I opted to get my hair shampooed and the wonderful lady who assisted me was superb. She was also attentive and took time to make sure I was OK and comfortable with different things like water temp, pressure during the shampoo, and asking for permission to begin. I wasn't familiar with some of this, and asked about it, and she explained that she understands that different people are sensitive to different things, or may have special preferences or even sensory issues, so she wants to make sure her customers are comfortable and agree before moving forward. If people applied the kind of thoughtfulness I received during my shampoo to other areas of their lives and to family, friends and strangers they meet, imagine how much more of an accepting world this would be.

I was so pleased with the experience that I brought my 22 month old son back later the same day for a cut. Rocky did a fantastic job with his cut, despite all him dodging, dipping, ducking, diving and dodging! He was even given a small toy, a little plastic dinosaur car, which he loves and plays all the time!

Great little salon with lots of great services - or just a quick trim. Everyone is friendly and accommodating.

There isn't enough space to say how great this salon is. There is a beautiful yorkie (her name is Mia) that will greet you when you walk in and a warm welcome from the staff. They immediately offered me a wide array of beverages to choose from while I waited my turn. Once I was seated Rocky shaped my hair right up and that's all there was to it. Lovely conversation throughout while she cut my hair, too! I tell everyone I know if they are in the area and need a cut to come here.

Rocky is extremely talented! I am really picky about my hair she does a fantastic job with my hair. I have thick black curly hair and she safely colored my hair. She takes her time and makes sure you like it before you leave. The salon is beautiful as well. I highly recommend her services!
