Black Friday's year after year have seen some of the grizzliest Street Hockey games that Broomall could have only dreamed to offered. 4 teams battling for the coveted "Turkey Cup Championship", but don't tell that to these players, they are battling for much more. Pride, Showmanship, Bragging rights, and the ultimate glory of having their named etched into the annals of Broomall's lore. This rink has seen boys turn into men, Bud light cans filled and turned into recyclables in seconds, and championship moments so great that they've been featured on Spittin' Chiclets. This rink will continue to serve for 2-3 more years, until our bodies fail us, we begin to get married and sadly, start having kids.
We will then pass it onto a new generous to cherish. Until then, and until 2025, this tournament will not be going anywhere. Please join us at the next Turkey Cup on November 26th, 2021 8am sharp.
