Just a great experience during a very sad period. Jason was patient, supportive and very helpful throughout the process. He went above and beyond in his effort from start to finish to ensure we were pleased with the headstone. We are very grateful to Jason for his professionalism and his caring.

Wow, what attention to detail! My Dad's plot was in WV.and required the date engraved, an updated cameo photo which was damaged and military medallion installed. I couldn't be happier with Caitlin's attention to what we needed. This was all done electronically as I live out of state. Kudos to a service well done!

Vince and team did my mother's monument. It is absolutely beautiful- far exceeding our expectations. They followed our direction and design exactly, to the smallest detail, stretching themselves to go out of their wheelhouse to recreate carving styles we liked from other monument companies. They worked hard to fit in and make work everything we asked for, and included everything in the base price. We made a lot of changes and were very indecisive, which they accommodated without complaint. It was actually done and shipped quicker than estimated, arrived and was installed perfectly, and it is a large stone! Best yet, it was a great value for the money. We could not have had a better experience. We did a LOT of research to settle on Rome Monument and are very happy we did!

I had the pleasure of working with Rome's designers, craftsmen and installers throughout the entire process of having a monument created. Vince and Chris are true gentlemen who came up with great ideas for the perfect cemetery monument. Then I went to their production center in Monaca and watched the monument as it was being built. The craftsmen were focused and took great care in etching and engraving the granite. I was surprised at how clean and automated the facility is. Then I went to the installation at a local cemetery where they arrived right on time and spent two hours taking great care to make sure the setting was done perfectly. Thank you Vince and all your people who made this difficult time a truly satisfying experience.

Caring, generous and compassionate are three words that describe the staff and owners of Rome Monuments. John assisted in creating and designing a pre-need mausoleum for my parents in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hopewell Township. There was never any pressure, they let my parents take their time and gave them exactly what they asked for. It was personalized with perfection. When my father passed away, John was present for the opening and closing of the mausoleum and made certain it was done with respect. They lettered the stone in a timely manner and even cleaned it as well.

John, Vince and Billy were very generous to Good Samaritan Cemetery when I was the Cemetery Manger. They restored older sections of the cemetery by pouring new foundations and fixing fallen headstones. This was done with little or no cost to the cemetery.

I would highly recommend Rome Monuments to take care of your cemetery needs. You can be assured it will be done with care and compassion.

Our experience: "anything that could go wrong did. " We contacted Vince who's an owner just after Christmas 2018 to order construction of our mausoleum. It was completed in June 2019. We arranged to take off work & school & made the three hour trip to the cemetery in VA for the setting. Vince wanted to use the same crane company he had recently used which had to travel over three hours to our cemetery and ended up being late. We were excited to see what would be our final resting place & observe the process of it being set. However, as it was being lowered onto the foundation, a strap slipped off the edge & the base of the mausoleum cracked across the rear right corner as it slammed down on the foundation. Vince told us not to worry, that they would make it right & would completely re-make a new mausoleum. He also told us to plan on the new mausoleum being ready at the end of August. We contacted Vince towards the end of July for an update. He told us he was waiting on the granite from the quarry but that it had been cut & should be there soon. We agreed to meet on a specific date at the end of September to swap out the cracked mausoleum for the new one. Vince later contacted us to tell us that the agreed upon date did not work because his brother-in-law, Billy who does the settings had a family event he needed to attend. A lot of back & forth ensured over dates with each of us having some sort of conflict. We had finally resigned ourselves that we would not be able to be present when Vince wanted to swap the mausoleums but Vince insisted we needed to be present & they would not do the swap without us. We agreed on Sept. 7,2019 at 10: 00 a.m. Then Vince contacted us and told us it needed to be moved up to 9: 00 a.m. Because of the crane company which was fine. A local crane company was used this time. Vince also told us that Billy had another family event he needed to get home to in the Pittsburgh area that afternoon. Early in the week we requested that Vince send us photos of the completed mausoleum & informed him that we did not want the swap rushed because of what happened the first time & that they could set it without us later in the month if that was better for Billy's schedule. Vince replied & assured us that nothing would be rushed & Billy has as much ownership in the company so this would be done right, but no photos were included. On Sept. 6 we again contacted Vince regarding photos & this time he replied that Billy & Kenny were already on the road with the new mausoleum so he couldn't take photos but he included one taken by the engraver. He also said that Billy & Kenny would be staying in a hotel that evening so they were well rested for the swap the next morning. Based on that information we decided we should go down that evening as well & stay in a hotel which we emailed Vince. We arrived at the cemetery at 8: 50 a.m, ten minutes before our agreed upon time & nearly had a heart attack when we discovered the swap was completed without us present. What happened to Vince insisting we needed to be present? It immediately begged the question of did they intentionally start early so we wouldn't see if something happened this time. We will never know for sure since they did the swap without us present. The photo Vince finally sent after the crew was on the road appeared to show problems with the engraving which were confirmed upon inspection in person. The engraving was not nearly as good as the first one. A comma was completely left out & the others were just tiny dimples in the granite that you had to really focus on to even see. Since both mausoleums were on site we were able to contrast the two & see the stark difference with the first one having clearly defined, pronounced commas. We were dismayed at the lack of attention to detail on the engraving. After all this was a re-do of the first one that was cracked. We were obviously upset. Billy laughed which made us feel he was entertained to see us upset. The cemetery fence was also damaged. The entire ordeal was a nightmare! We wasted time & money. Beware!

Zero stars. Very dissatisfied. Dropped and cracked our first mausoleum, then rushed our second one, ignored requests for pictures of finished product, arrived early to the cemetery to set it so we couldn't see any damage to the second one, and did a poor job on the engraving having left out commas. No quality control. Worst part is owner Vince Dioguardi doesn't stand by his words and twists things to protect himself. Has not shown us respect for his mistakes. Do not make the same mistake we did trusting this company.
