First time here, and I'm going to say this, I always give a place two tries. I loved the decor, and the atmosphere. Now wait times were a lil longer than normal, but with staff shortage is understandable. Now our waiter was extremely pleasant and friendly, but was over stretched with the amount of tables he was covering. We were seated and 20 min later our drink order was taken (we had a party of 5), we received our drinks, then waited 30 min to have our food order placed. (Again, understandable due to short staffing) We received our food, I will say it was tasty, but was luke warm (plate was hotter than my meal). I will try this place again in the future. Hopefully has better service next time.

This place is always a madhouse. The reason.is because the food is GREAT. I got the Philly Cheesesteak and it's like being in Philly.

Ron's is a great place to eat. Their cheese steaks and pizza are tremendous. How ever last night I tried the meatloaf and was not thrilled to say the least. Hence the 4 star this time. However I would go back there many more times, just not get the meatloaf. I'm sorry I had to give the 4 and not 5 stars this time.

Ron's is incredible. We have been ordering lunch here for years at my work. The Tuna Carciofo Piadini is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Such a great combination of ingredients. Ron's never disappoints!

I’ve been here a few times so far. I will be back many more. Good atmosphere. Great food! I have a gluten intolerance and there is no other place in the area that offers such yummy and so many gluten free varieties. They even put a sticker or tootpick that says gluten free on your plate.

One of the best restaurants in the area! I love how many gluten-free options there are. It’s one of the few restaurants I can visit that has a wide variety of food I can eat. Everything I have tried has tasted amazing. Love the pizza and pasta the most though!

I liked it, but and there always is a but, the menu is too long.
Why do you have so many items on the menu?
The number #1 thing that kills restaurants are large menus and food costs. I’d recommend looking at the menu online before going, it will save you and enormous amount of time.

My husband and I went here for the first time tonight, and loved it. I have celiac disease, and I can’t say enough how amazing it is to go somewhere where all of the options are clearly marked as to what I can and can’t eat. Our server, Christopher, was super accommodating, and when he didn’t know the answer to a question I had about a food item, he went right back and asked.

Let me start by saying that I once considered Ron’s to be the premier family dining establishment in the area. We used to stop in there at least once a month or more. That is no longer true.

I will not go into all the minutia of the meal, but the bottom line is after waiting an hour on a Saturday at 4: 30 PM for two medium burgers and a basket of fries I should not receive: a rare cold burger, a somehow well done yet cold burger (clearly it sat waiting to get picked up), and no fries (when the table behind us received the same basket with their meal right away). When these errors were pointed out to our clearly junior and unseasoned server he took away the burgers, returning minutes later to ask “the kitchen wants to know what you want us to do, warm them up, make you new ones, or take them off the check. ” Um, I came for dinner right? So I want what I ordered to be made correctly, right?

Then what I assume was the manager/owner came over begrudgingly to say the order would be fixed (without any apology), and when the burgers came back, my undercooked clearly hexagonal shaped meat paddy shows a clear lying on behalf of the restaurant that claims: “Featuring scratch-made dishes with the freshest ingredients possible, our extensive menu includes gluten-free, vegetarian, spicy, hormone & antibiotic free, and from house-made options. ” If you let me know how you can get a purely hexagonal shaped burger scratch made from the freshest ingredients instead of frozen, you let me know. You know as they say “Meats – We do not use pre-portioned packaged frozen meats for our dinners. ” Clearly due to rising costs that is not the truth any longer.

The restaurant is quick to point out all their rising costs due to wages, covid, or whatever they want to claim this week when the truth of the matter is that Ron’s no longer “consider (s) our customers and employees part of our family and the health of our family is important to me. ” Now their attitude seems to be “you decided to come into our restaurant, so you are just going to accept a lower standard/higher cost experience, and if that is not ok with you, then go to the chains we hate comparing ourselves to. ” You know, the chains that are quick to point out are cheaper than you, yet have lesser (controlled) quality and the ability to answer service and food complaints in a rational and pre-determined manner that does not make the customer feel they are being “difficult with the “just trying to make it in these unprecedented times/support locally owned” business. ”

That is what you run, Ron’s, a business, not a sympathy gathering establishment. You may have labor and supply problems but guess what, we all do. You already are transferring that cost to the customer, maybe you shouldn’t pawn off the decreased quality as well.

“Here at Ron’s Original, it is our pleasure to serve you delicious, scratch-made wholesome meals at reasonable prices without sacrificing taste.
The bottom line is, “If I Wouldn’t Eat It, I Won’t Serve It! ”

These are your words, yet your attitude at the potential loss at two frozen burgers to keep your customers happy says otherwise.

Finally I want to point out that since it took us so long to get our food, the restaurant was packed by the time we left, with a wait. So any cries of lost business are out the window. The world is going back to eat, if you are not prepared to meet the challenge due to staff or costs, then keep the doors closed.

Excellent meal, excellent service. Roomy dining area. Sizeable, varied menu. My son had a burger/fries that he loved. I had an "oval", an oblong personal pizza.it was delicious. Ron's is highly recommended
