Matt & the rest of the Roots Catering team are amazing! My husband and I booked Roots for our wedding in the Pocono Mountains and we couldn't have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. From the Philly cheesesteak empanadas to the braised short rib to the end-of-the-evening soft pretzel bar - our guests are still talking about the food. And that's because the Roots team did a phenomenal job of asking the right questions, listening to our desire to celebrate different cultures through food, and inspiring us with unique menu items. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for wedding perfection, Roots is the team to book. I used Roots services for catering, DJ, and florals. They were quick to respond, professional, and talented. As a bride it was important for me to have the vision "come true" and they went out of their way to accomplish it. They're a great team to bring your ideas to, and then they take them one step higher. They really know what makes a wedding run well and how to make it elegant. I know weddings can be so expensive, but investing in this team made all the difference for our wedding. I trusted them so much that any matter they were in charge of, I relaxed because I knew they would do a great job. Matt, the owner, handles all personalities well and is always quick to assist. I also want to make a special shout out to Corrie, their florist, who made the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. Her florals were the glory of our wedding! And Matt the DJ had a very thorough sheet for us to fill out so all the music was perfect. Thank you Roots for everything you did for us.

Roots was nothing short of perfection, we cannot recommend them enough! Great food, great service!

Food was phenomenal. It’s been a week since my wedding and my guests are still talking about the food!

I couldn’t have dreamed of a better team to work with for our wedding reception. Finding the right food vendor to feed over 100 guests was a major stress for me in the planning process. As soon as we met with Matt my mind was put to ease with his professionalism, easy going personality and appreciation for local vendors/suppliers. Our tasting was amazing and felt like having Sunday dinner with friends, so comfortable and delicious. The mobile kitchen was delivered 2 days before the wedding where we had our final meet and Saturday everything was seamless. The catering staff was so kind and helpful. Execution of all courses was flawless and every single one of my guests commented how amazing the food was and they were still thinking about it days after wishing they had seconds! Communication with my parents was constant throughout the night and Matt took the time during the reception to make sure everything was perfect which was so incredibly thoughtful. Roots truly cares about their clients and their service and food is impeccable! I would highly recommend them for any event.

Matt and his team did an absolutely phenomenal job catering for our wedding reception! As any couple would, we did our due diligence and met with multiple caterers.
From the very beginning we were very impressed with the transparency as well as how responsive Matt was throughout the process. The tasting was amazing and Matt was very flexible in curating our preferred menu based feedback from us.
Once we decided to move forward with Roots, Matt was always there to answer any questions and give guidance.
On the day of the event, him and his crew were nothing short of spectacular for the food and service. All our guests absolutely loved the appetizers (which included some non-traditional plates) and entrees and I'd recommend Matt and his team in a heartbeat. (S/O to the Gnochchi dish.probably some of the best Gnochchi we've ever had!)

Unfortunately didn't get to use Roots Catering due to a scheduling / communication issues. Have only heard great things about food and service but had a disappointing experience with scheduling. Will still leave 5 Stars though.

Our wedding day, 05.13.23, was perfect and it wouldn't have been as perfect without Roots Catering. From the first tasting, their food was hands down fantastic! Great food is what we were looking for, but all of their services exceeded our expectations! Their organization and attention to detail was unmatched. From the Google Docs to organize meal choices and reception table layout to the final details meetings, I couldn't have been more sure that we had the best catering service out there! The food was amazing and all of our guests were very happy! The service was excellent! Matt and his team really made our day special and were willing to do anything to make sure our wedding was perfect! The fresh baked warm cookies at the reception were also a huge hit! Highly recommend Roots Catering, as they will not only provide great food, but help make your wedding day the best day ever!

Roots Catering exceeded all of our expectations. We hired them for our wedding of 175 people. They were so professional and quick! Our guests raved about all of the food and the service of the staff. Matt and his team are awesome and I’m so thankful we got to work with them! Hire them!

Just enjoyed another wonderful experience with Roots Catering! Matt and his team make it so easy to indulge in a selection of lovingly prepared, delicious food and relaxed, yet professional, service. After the initial consultation, we don't need to worry about a thing because we trust that Roots will provide us with a truly memorable event. This was our fifth or sixth time working with Matt's team, and it certainly will not be our last!

Matt and the Roots catering team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Roots is always prompt to respond, answers all questions big and small, and treats you with as much care as if you're family. One of my family members has a very severe dairy and beef allergy. Roots was more than happy to accommodate his meal and ensured that he could eat at our wedding just like every other guest. Not to mention that all of our food was excellent. Everyone commented how it came out delicious AND hot and most weddings you don't get to say that the food came out hot. We couldn't be more impressed with and thankful for Roots.
