Ross Stores Distribution Center reviews
9Very nice facility and workers no overnight parking but on street you can park take by appointment but pretty quick unload my appointment was 9am check in 7.50am and 8.30 done also have bathroom
Where do I begin! The lack of training as a”Splitter”, being told it’s a performance job that requires you to produce 75% or higher in this position, with the type of system that fails your performance along with technical issues such as, a slow gladiator, with consistent rebooting issues or having to change it out. You will have no support or backup when it occurs. You have to split items every second and when you don’t your percentage drops. The manager wouldn’t speak unless spoken to. Very rude individual with poor lack of acknowledge of various cultures. Favoritism amongst the workers, especially those who basically have mastered this type of job. Your percentage helps their bonus! Anything below they TERMINATE you. Do not seek employment here. The place is FILTHY with cobwebs falling from the ceiling in the break room area. A dirty women's bathroom with a dirty stall in it that was initially the mens bathroom. I hope they post this!
I've always wanted to know what it's like to work in a sweat shop in a third world country. Worked here for a day so now I know.
Worked here for a couple years. The conditions are not that great, the space to work in is dirty, and to make matters worse the management is reluctant to change anything to improve. They’d much rather change the workforce (ie have a high turnover rate) than to improve the quality of their workspace. Not to mention, there’s a strong vein of nepotism that runs deep the higher you climb the managerial ladder. Would give it zero stars, but unfortunately that’s not an option.
Drop yard is a little tight in the back, but other than that, plenty of room. Can park outside gate if load isn't ready
I currently work here honestly I love it third shift is more laid back which I like everyone is cool to b around it's winter time and the temp is nice it isn't freezing or too hot it's comfortable. One thing I will say is the bathrooms get pretty gross sometimes. They are adamant about COVID and I personally like the warehouse being gated and how u have to go through security and bag checks makes u feel safe. Plus u get discounts at the actual store which is already pretty cheap plus discounts I have four kids so score for me! Pay is nice to I live an HR and a half away I'm making more then I ever have during my lifetime it's nice

Easy to get to, enough parking and backing space. I visit them almost every week and it's always a very good experience
