Rother Dental, Mechanicsburg PA

January 4th, 2024. The visit to your office was very comforting and without pain. That has not been my experience in the past but I was so pleased with the gentleness of the technician and Doctor Rother. Much care was taken to inspect my mouth and to make recommendations. I am so pleased we have found a great dentist and staff! The tooth filling I had today went so smoothly. I appreciate so much the staff and the care they take.

Christina was my hygienist today and my dentist was Dr. Rother. It’s always a nice environment and the staff are the best. Highly recommend Rother Dental for all your dental needs.

Dr. Rother and his team of talented professionals were fantastic handling me and my dental needs. From the front door receptionist, the dental assistant, Dr. Rother imself, and finally checkout, all were friendly and quite knowledgeable about the office processes. He has done an excellent job of training them and supporting each of them in their journey within the profession.

Going to the dentist is almost a pleasure. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is welcoming. I was taken exactly on time for a crown appointment and Dr. Rother explained everything as he proceeded and he answered my questions fully. He even gave me a discount in recognition of the expense of a crown that I hadn't anticipated in my holiday budget! Five stars well-deserved!

They were friendly, quick, and had game plan. You can tell the dentist truly care about his patients. They understand going to the dentist suck so they try there best to make your comfortable and great experience.

Dr Rother is the best dentist I have ever had, and he and his staff are extremely kind, welcoming and calming to someone who used to dread going to the dentist. Dr Rother and his staff are top notch! They are my dentist, and I used them for my Invisalign. Dr Rother listened to every thought or concern I have had throughout my treatment. He always says “Our job isn’t done until your happy! ” I couldn’t be more happy with them!

Had a good day today. Friday evening my crown unexpectedly popped off my tooth. I called Rother Dental this morning expecting to hear the worst, they saw me at 8: 30, cleaned up the old crown and my tooth, glued it back on and I was out the door by 9: 30. Amazing!

This dental office is unprofessional. I started an ortho treatment. It was completely out-of-pocket. Since then, it's been a cycle of receiving miscommunication regarding my balance. I was told on 05/26/23 that I paid my full account balance. I have my receipt showing my balance is $0 and verified over the phone as well. I've been into the office since then and was never told of an outstanding balance.
I just received a phone call on 10/03/23, I was told I owe $1000 and haven't made a payment since May. I explained that was when I was told my account balance was paid off. I just called in because I never heard back (after being told this would be evaluated by admin) and was told the balance is now $1,300. There needs to be some accountability.
Update-Dr. Rother reached out to me. He did the right thing and took accountability. He left a voicemail asking for me to call him back. I called the office on Friday and was told he wasn't in that day. I was told he would call me back first thing Monday morning. I guess that wasn't communicated.
Dr. Rother wrote off the "balance" and explained there will be training for the employees on this. This is apparently a common issue. While I appreciate the accountability and the follow-up, I won't be returning. This whole experience has been very stressful.

An amazing team of professionals who have integrity, compassion and the skill sets needed to make this the best dental practice I’ve experienced in over 60 years. Dr. Rother is the best!
