Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup, Philadelphia PA

I was pleased with the service I received. I explained exactly what I wanted. My questions were answered and the work was done quickly. I guess it’s a good value. The plumber showed up and I’m happy.)

After completing the job, the worker grabbed my credit card and held it behind his back, refusing to give it back until I gave him a 5-star review in front of him. Then Roto Rooter deleted my review and sent me some useless form letter pretending they were "looking into" the incident.

I paid $280 thinking my toilet would get unclogged. Unfortunately it did not and the next day it overflowed and was clogged once again.

My experience with Roto Rooter was excellent not only did they know what they were doing and did a excellent job they were courteous professional and patient they all made me feel confident and comfortable they took a very stressful difficult situation and made it percent better I am so thankful

They had me write them emails and then called me to say we wish you wouldn't leave a "not-good" review. Well, I wish you didn't charge $500/drain then tell me that's just the way it is. PLEASE-AVOID THIS COMPANY. Learn from my mistakes

The guy was nice and came on time… but how on earth is the industry standard $500 per drain? My upstairs sink and tub were draining slowly. That costs a thousand to repair? They throw in some bells and whistles for discounts but $880 is robbery. I want an investigative journalist to uncover how many Ferraris the owner of Roto router has in his garage. Will not use them again

Thea was on time and professional. The problem I thought I had with the pipe in my basement was not the issue. He figured out why water was coming from my basement pipe in no time and he showed why water was coming from there. I give Thea 5 stars because his professionalism and he was reasonable. He took care of the problem and made sure it was fixed before he left.

We had a leak coming from the kitchen sink trap. I called Roto Rooter and they responded expeditiously. The Service Technician was on time, polite and very professional. He completed the job, explained to my wife and I what the issue was, fixed it and cleaned up afterwards. Thank you and if ever needed we will use Roto Rooter again.

Water heater busted, Roto Rooter came out and cleaned up the major water damage and took up the water damaged carpet and cleaned and dried out the surrounding damages as well. Came out the next day and installed a new bigger water heater. Will be paid for through my mortgage insurance. Did a great job of helping me out given my financial situation

My experience with rotor rooter was amazing my technician name was Thea and he was very professional and explained everything he was doing when unclogging my sewer line…he was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing… I wish there could be more guys like him. I pray I don’t have any more issues but if I ever do I hope Thea be the one to get the job, I felt at ease with him doing the work… great guy very professional… thank you so much Thea you saved my day

Great service. Used them once in November of '22 and February '23. Both times, they got the job done.

I had a leak in my bathtub and water ran constantly. Roy came in and greeted us warmly, was professional, and knew what to do. He completed the job, in a timely manner.

The representative was outstanding. He was personable, professional and efficient. He was an example of how I wish all my services were handled. He was the best.

Fast service, great plumber! The plumber James put a stop my running toilet and leaking tub faucet. These issues caused me to have a large water bill every month. It took him less than 20 minutes to find the problemand less than 3 hours to fix. I would recommend everyone use Roto-Rooter for any plumbing needs. Low prices are always a plus!

John was awesome. Super professional, personable, and quick. Diagnosed and fixed the problem inside of 15 minutes. Gave us plenty of insight on what was wrong and what to expect in the future.

We called Roto Rooter in a panic when our basement flooded, and they scammed us. Removal of items from the basement was estimated to cost 5-9k, and they assured us it was almost impossible it would be more than 6, however they charged our insurance more than 10k, and explicitly told us they expected to be negotiated down. When insurance reached out to talk them down, they ignored all of the calls for over a month, because they as scammers and not actual meaningful business people. The person we dealt with was named Dennis, and after ensuring me he would be my point man for everything we needed, he ghosted me and refused to ever speak to me again on the phone. Literally any other business is better than working with these clowns.
