Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup, Philadelphia PA

Had a great experience. Our basement was flooding late on a rainy Sunday and we were able to get an appointment setup fast. The technician Joe showed up quickly and provided excellent service. He promptly fixed our issue, a clogged sewer line, and gave a thorough breakdown of what went wrong and steps to take to future proof our situation.

The technician Q (he said his technician number was Q4878) made the process super quick and painless, I had tons of work to catch up on and was worried I would get behind but he took care of everything without me needing to be too involved and was in and out super quickly, which is exactly what I needed. Great service!

Tech Joe #5816 and Rob #5386 came to my house to unclog my sewer line. They were both very professional, knowledgeable and patient as they walked me through everything. They ended up discovering tree roots had gotten into my line. Next day excavation team was here, and my experience with them was no different then the two other guys. Thanks again Roto Rooter!

Prompt service, but outrageously expensive. Over $400 for less than an hour’s work. Roto Rooter says they don’t charge extra for nights or weekends. That’s because they’re so expensive to begin with. Afterwards the technician cleaned out the trap, I was told the garbage disposal had to be replaced. I said no thanks, as the disposal was 6 months old and should be under warranty. I was told that if I went and got a replacement, he could install it for an additional $550. He then left and I happened to try the disposal switch. It worked just fine. The technician also tried to sell me a water softener for thousands of $$.
