Ron recently did a setup on my 2011 Martin D 35 and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve owned the guitar for 12 years and I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never had it worked on. It started to become hard to play, especially bar chords. It’s now like brand new and so easy to play again. His workmanship, expertise, knowledge and care for guitars is unbelievably impressive. I’ve read the negative reviews which are downright mean and untrue. I’ll never take my guitar anywhere else. If You’re looking for a true professional, Ron’s Your man. And a super good guy. Very reasonable as well! I’m beyond thankful he brought my beloved guitar back to life!

I brought my acoustic guitar with buzzing issues in to Mr. Ruggierro's Guitar Workshop for servicing. Mr. Ruggiero stated that he would have to shim the saddle to fix the problem. After further inspection he mentions that some of the internal bracing was loose and needed to be reglued. The repair would cost $300. In good faith I agreed. I returned four weeks later to pick up the guitar. The buzzing problem wasn't addressed. I told him I was lead to believe he was going to shim the saddle. He said "You never told me to shim the saddle". I was stunned. He did offer to shim the saddle which alleviated the buzzing a bit, but not entirely. I strummed a chord up on the twelfth fret and was taken aback when he asked me, "Do you play up there? " Needless to say it was a very sour experience.

Brought my 1983 D-28 in for a neck reset. Ron did an amazing job. The guitar looks and sounds perfect. Very pleased.

Asked him to fix unusual crack damage to the top bout of my HD 28. After being grilled about how that kind of damage could happen, he chastised me about the plastic film covering on my pick
guard and ripped It off. I explained that I had many quality guitars with the plastic on the pick guards and got a lecture on how this is not good for pick guards.
Upon 'completion' of the repair, he informed me that he installed internal cleats but the external finish and lacquer was too close to the binding for him to bother with. Maybe I'll rent a BMW next time rather than going in my 2000 Civic. No.never again. Thank you sir for inspiring me to do my own work! Anyone with a moderate degree of patience and intelligence could do just as well.

Nothing says 'here's a good guitar repair shop' more than a BLM sign out front. Now ANTIFA know where to get their repairs on their stolen instruments done!
