Rutter's #56 reviews
24We visit every Friday during camping season! Employees are the best! Always clean and well stocked!
I've frequented this Rutter's since it opened for everything from gas to late night snacks and dairy products. Overall, staff is polite and food orders are accurate. The location is great, easy on and off from I-83. The Restaurant Manager is great at making recommendations for regulars when they add new items to their menu.
The service here has been abysmal the last few times. I would be shocked if the FIVE individuals working the food service area could organize a bowl of cereal without messing it up. 25 minutes for burnt chicken pot pie (not sure how you burn soup but they managed it) and 2 chicken sliders, the store wasn’t busy. I’m not typically one to come down on ‘potty mouths’ either but after about the 15th ‘f*&k’ even I found it excessive, especially since there were kids in the store. I wouldn’t worry too much about it though considering this particular staff member was running his mouth about only having to finish out his 2 weeks anyway. Probably for the best.
I got my lunch and used the men's room there while I charged my car. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
This store was very unorganized and the ready to go food looked dried out! I never in my life ever seen a Rutters ran like this! First and last trip to this Rutters!
The kindest most sweetest cashier works here and has a very bright happy energy! I adore her pins on the hat employees wear. It is clear she enjoys and makes the job fun! Very grateful for how nice she is every time I visit for gas or food. Also the chicken pot pie is ahhhmazing! Thank you rutters
Absolutely horrific service, been in there multiple times and honestly there’s one kind cashier, the kitchen are a bunch of cry babies every time someone orders and purposely leave stuff out of your order. Just got home and chucked two pepperrollis straight in the garbage because they left the sauce I went out of the way to order out because they’re lazy incompetent fools and I’m not gonna eat trash tier food without the sauce, only reason I ordered that non-sense. How do I know they left the sauce out on purpose? Cuz they were complaining about it the second it popped up on their little screen because apparently someone enjoying buffalo sauce on unconventional foods is too much for them to handle and it’s not gonna happen on their watch. I know I never will step foot in that abomination again, your kitchen are a bunch of cowards. Oh and by the way, I’ll be going to corporate tomorrow, hope they clean house you people don’t deserve a basic wage
Have fun with your lives that are so bad you feel vindicated by leaving two sauce packets out of someone’s order you pack of losers:)
The management here needs to sit down cashier Madison. Mady? You are aweful at your job. You could constantly make me wait for you to finish texting. You never EVER smile, you never say Hello, you never ask if I need a bag. I have to ask. Rutter's MGMT? You have some dead weight and you little rude cashier in the afternoons is part of it.
I got my hot wings without sauce that i ordered, and didnt get cheese sauce that i ordered for my soft pretzel
Ordered four ribs, ended up with three burnt, old looking, fealt like a low life shopping there.
Ordered a cheesesteak sandwich with sautéed onions and green peppers. They put raw white onions and green peppers on it. It was supposed to be cut in half because it was a foot long sub but instead of cutting it how a normal person would, they cut it in half length wise along the side so the sandwich literally fell apart when I picked it up. Had to eat it with a fork. Ordered a cheese pizza for my toddler and asked for marinara on the side. They smeared it ON TOP of the cheese on the pizza. This is not the first time we have had a bad experience with food here, but it is the WORST.
Used to be a nice area until Rutters decided to go super. Now brings in a ton of traffic in thatd not needed, the red light is horrible. Was a better town before Rutters showed up. The community should have boycotted I hate passing through there now. It used to be nothing.
Lol i love this rutters it's the best one in the area by far! Love all the employees! My friends make fun of me for always running into me there, they say its my 2nd home gotta love them! Also beer & wine cooler is being built as we speak! Thats going to be an awesome addition!
I have tried on two separate occasions to use my debit card there to purchase things and pay for gas and wasn't when I was not able to but you could go across the streets to sheets and it work I will I wil
I've been to all the Rutters locations and in my opinion this is the best one. It has a great layout, a well kept car wash on site, tractor trailer parking. Just a real nice Rutters.
Every time I order something from here it's never right.their too busy talking to each other behind the counter to pay attention to what there doing. I understand it's a quick food place but if your going to charge me $4 of a sandwich with egg and sausage on it I think If I put to toast it you don't throw to dry pieces of bread untoasted in a bag.let's get it together over there.very disappointed
Been going there since they opened.the level of service you receive really depends on when you go there. I've had a few bad encounters there, sorry to say it but it's usually when the younger kids are working. They tend to be more interested in talking to their friends or other co-workers than making your orders.
Never got food there. I always get a bottle of soda and leave. I pay for it. Yeah its about Avarege service from associates. Someone here thought I was going to steal while I was waiting in line to pay with one thing in my hand.
You can build your own food, sandwiches, salads and such on the self serve computer. Get a receipt and shop for more, pay it all together. Love it. Small parking area for trucks so good luck finding a spot. Very clean place.
Their hash browns suck- technically they're tater tots anyway, but they're greasier than Sheetz (rather remarkable) and the oil they use is old and bitter. At least their crapper is usually clean. Their egg rolls are fried beyond compare as well. Cut it out, morons. Change your skanky oil.
