Whoever was hauling trailer 11099 or 1109 on 10/18/22 is seriously the worst driver ever. He was tailgating us, flashing his lights to the point that we seriously thought he was gonna ram into us. We were driving the same speed as the cars in front of us. If we had moved he would have done the same thing to the other drivers. I’m not sure if he was late for a drop off or late to get home but it was completely unnecessary. Please let them know that safety is important for him and those around them.

I was a a student at Shelly Truck Driving school. Operated by S&H the instructors are varying knowledgeable, and will get you where you need to be to pass a CDL class a license.

I was aggressively tailgated today after merging onto interstate 70. I couldn’t even see his lights, that’s how close he was. There was bo bumper to bumper traffic or anything of the sort. This went on for MILES with my two children in the car. I was going OVER the speed limit and no mistake was made on my part when merging. I have never had an experience like that happen to me and it was especially frightening having to children in the car.

Good company to start out and gain driving experience. My dispatcher Tina is awesome, I enjoy my routes, and I love my truck. Recruiter Andrea is amazing as well. She really goes above and beyond to help the drivers out. She genuinely cares for the drivers. I do struggle with some of the trailers due to them being older but it’s a work in progress. As far as pay I wish it was hourly for all local and short haul drivers not just a select few. Overall can’t complain.

I am going on 3 years with the company and I have to say this is the best company I've ever worked for. I was hired with no experience in trucking as a Safety Coordinator. I was given the tools and forever grateful for Bridget (Safety Manager) helping me start with the company. Jeff (President) is caring, knowledgeable and always takes the time to talk with the drivers and office staff. I was recently moved to recruiting so advancement is an option here! There is a great management team here like Jordan, Joe and Dale. They truly care about the drivers and office staff. I feel at home here and if you decide to join S&H Express, you wont be disappointed!

I have been in Transportation for 40 years and S&H Express is by far the best Trucking company I have ever worked for in all my years in this industry. Always treated like a person and not a number. Excellent team work atmosphere!

Terrible drives that need to go back to driving school. Obstructing traffic in construction zones and endangering lives.

I was a yard jockey there at C&D you work 12 hr shift with no break. They take $20 per week out of your pay to go into a fund in case you break a mirror or something on their equipment but you may get this back when you leave. The top rate is $20 per hour and there are no raises. The faster you work the more you will do there is no end to the long lists that are handed over from C&D. The equipment is fair depending on what jockey truck you get, they preach safety but when you see the equipment you will draw your own conclusion. The only thing they care about is you showing up and getting the long list of trailers moved as fast as possible. If something breaks on the unit your driving the garage may or may not send someone to fix it. If a mirror or a airline break you are expected or asked to fix it yourself if not Drive whatever is left.
