An absolutely breathtaking experience, I'm blessed to have this within minutes of my home.
The trail is nice for walking or biking. We hit it in the rain and there was some puddles here and there but nothing bad. Awesome view, nice how they fixed the bridge up!
A nice bike between safe harbor and martic forge trestle bridges. The bridge is nice and the viewing windows through the bridge are fun.we parked at the martic forge trail head and if you're biking that's for sure the way to go.
Not sure if they mean the rail trail trusel bridge over the Conestoga River but if so, it's an ironic curving bridge which has trail head parking at the dam, 5.25 miles away in Manor Twp or 3 miles away in Conestoga Twp.
Wonderfully implemented rail-to-trail section. The bridge has fantastic and elevation to provide a huge panoramic view of the river and the impressive Safe Harbor Dam. The bridge is very wide and accommodates bikes and hikers simultaneously. Mounted binoculars on the side if the bridge are complemented by squares windows in the middle of the bridge which provide a view straight down. Absolutely free.
Great location with some of the best views in the county of the mighty Susquehanna. I must visit on your next quest.

This was my second time riding my bike on the Safe Harbor Trestle Bridge since it opened back in June I can't wait until they are done with the Martic Forge Trestle Bridge aalso
Just a stunning job on the walkway/trestle restoration. Beautiful views, plenty of room for dog walkers, cyclists and hikers. There's a nice little pavilion with picnic tables as well as port-a-potties. It's about a 35 minute walk from Shenks Ferry or you can park at the Safe Harbor park area.
Good to see it's finally completed and connects the enola low grade trail. Now they just need to fix the one a couple miles further down. Lol
It is cool to ride a bike across this bridge.
The crews did a super job on this bridge. I only wish the inlaid glass panels were bigger. Great views.
Officials are thinking this could become a major recreational tourist draw. I definitely think the potential is there to do just that.
Hopefully, a second bridge being reconstructed along the trail and some other sections in the Quarryville area will soon be done so the trail can go uninterrupted to Chester County and beyond
Not a lot of room to fish due to it being a popular spot. Also very rocky and shallow in spots. I didn't enjoy myself at all!
