Sage Alley Brewery & Grille reviews
15Service was top notch! Beers were delicious as well. Been here a few times & always enjoy it.
Excellent vibe! What a great place to hangout! I really love the atmosphere here.
Beer was below average unfortunately. The pale ale was respectable (tasted like a Heineken). One of the IPAs tasted like a home brew slightly contaminated. The double IPA was the only beer I would consider having again.
I’ll definitely return to check in on this place again in the future hoping the beer picks up because the venue itself is awesome!
Good beer, nice vibe & attracts a good crowd
Staff could definitely be more friendly… but overall decent place
Very nice place Very tasty burgers also nice pleasant atmosphere many different brews to drink I'll go Back again
Love this place! Sat on the patio tonight and took our dog, Virgil! Food was great and beer was too! I got a couple growlers to go! Melissa was our waitress, very attentive and friendly! There were other dogs there too! Nice to be able to eat somewhere that allows dogs! I had pretzel sticks with a beer-cheddar sauce, as my appetizer and it was delicious. My wife had shrimp as her appetizer and loved it. I then had boneless wings and wife had a spinach salad that was on the specials board. Both were great! Go there, you’ll love it!
The perfect end to a great day. We had a couple very good IPA's and delicious Taco's. Cool brewery with a nice selection of outdoor seating, and a bar inside. Great service! We couldn't ask for more.
Beer is quite good. I'd rate this place 5 stars if they served it properly. Beer should have a head on it, yet they draw it to the rim, no head, like it's Coors Light or some other swill. Have more respect for your beer! It deserves to be served properly and customers notice the difference.
Super nice layout. Rustic decor adds to the charm of this brewery. You will need a electron microscope for the food & a third party co signee for the tab. European restaurateurs would even scoff at the portion to price ratio. The crafts are what attracts visitors to breweries. My four flight sampler included a strong selection of the foundation of this establishment. Each one, left me wondering is this one skunked too? I never give in.or give up, so trying one full sized, I chose"make beer great again". Juicy dipa 2x ipa triple hopped. It Was the best of the worst experience of American craft house breweries.
First time there and I was impressed. The place was super cute with the outside patio and front porch seating. The drinks and food were great and the staff was outstanding. They were attentive and super friendly. Definitely will be going back
If you love small breweries and aren't looking for a restaurant, you'll really enjoy it here. Sage Alley is great when it comes to making a variety of beers. IPAs, lagers, easy-drinkers, sours, fruity, Irish, even Mexican. The beers are good, too. They know their stuff.
Food wise they are not a restaurant. They have a constant kitchen trailer that makes all the food fresh and to order. The menu is a little limited, but it's still good.
The food is good, the beer is great, the prices are just right. Then there's the staff, who are all really friendly. We have a good time talking and joking with each one every time we go. It's fun here.
Tons of outdoor seating and friendly dogs are welcome.
Sage Alley has a cute outdoor setup and the bar area is nice but we came for dinner and the food was cooked and served off a food truck. We ordered wings for an appetizer and they forgot about the wings and served our "meal" instead. After reminding our waitress - 20 minutes after having the meal our wings were served.pointless, we already ate. You had to grab all of your plastic utensils, paper plates, ketchup packets, etc. ****I believe it should be listed on your website that the food is from a food truck. We thought we were going to have a dining experience but it was the complete opposite. **** The food was disgusting.
A small brewery with 12 beers on tabs. They also have mixed drink specials.
The staff is very friendly. They have a sign to notify you that they are not a restaurant. However, they offer some great food.
They have a gourmet food truck of their own on site where you can order off of a menu and they have daily specials as well.
The food is brought to you in takeout containers. You can pick up condiments and silverware at a station located near the tables.
The bar inside is smaller with a few tables. The outside patio area is a great place to relax in the spring, summer and fall.
Pictures are from a recent visit in June 2022.
There was a meatball Parmesan pizza special. It was delicious.
They also have a second location a few doors down.
Beer was good, fast service and enjoyed the horsey burger on the deck. Outlets on the lawn out front and this isn't too far from the Saucon valley rail trail. Unfortunately to get here you have to ride a fastish road, cross a busy street and there is no ramp or handicap access.
Staff is friendly and helpful, beer options are good. I had the drain the swamp blueberry lager (great flavor), my husband had the blood orange ale (he said it was good)
Permanent food truck that has good and tasty food options.
The "seat yourself" procedure absolutely needs to be revised. We love the food. We love the pricing. We love eating here. However, every time we go here we wait and wait and wait for a staff member to notice that we have not been helped yet. This evening we sat for nearly a half hour while three different staff members walked within 10 feet of us nearly a dozen times and never said a word to us.
Please improve this process so that we can eat here again.
