Sage Continuing Education for Massage Therapy and the Healing Arts, Lancaster PA

I have been a Massage Therapist for twelve years now and have always relied on Sage while under Lynn. I have not been here since December of 2019, so I was up for a shock. First the place has changed (I accidentally went to the wrong place first. Oops!) And is under new ownership. It's not as warm and inviting as the place Lynn had and you aren't really explained much. I enjoyed being told where the break room was, what we could do around the area on our lunch break etc etc. You're kind of left either awkwardly wandering or sitting in your car.

Second, I took Ethic and CPR. Big mistake, it was awful. CPR, is what it is. Ethics on the other hand. WHY CANT WE LEAVE POLITICS OUT OF IT! Jeez! I'm sitting there pregnant and mortified. This is supposed to be about integrity so WHY are we talking about abortions and vaccines and "snobby rich white people" in class? I was so uncomfortable and just wanted to leave, but obviously needed the class to renew in December.

A majority of the class the Laura, the teacher, talked about her pet peeves. True and false information in HER eyes. A chiropractor told someone vaccines cause autism. Well that info IS debatable. According to another therapist "snobby rich white people" don't mind spreading Covid. Then we go to abortion. One lady claims a client told her she lost a baby due to her massage "I wasn't ready anyway" OMG. And worse yet another Reflexologist in the class made mention if he could put someone into labor he would put up a sign "surgery free abortions" DISGUSTING. Who is okay with this? !? ! This is supposed to be a CE class for Massage Therapists. Not abortion clinics.

Therapist beware. It's apparently gotten super liberal and apparently that's okay. I wish I had somewhere else to go, I flop back and forth between Baltimore and here otherwise it's a LONG drive. Ugh.
