Salhani Auto Service & Sales Emissions & State Inspection Station, Philadelphia PA

This shop has given me the opportunity to have my car fixed on two different occasions. On the first occasion, it worked well after the repair, but shortly after the problem came back, on the second occasion it was a complete disaster. He basically robbed me blind of everything I told him about the problems I was experiencing and he fixed everything except the problems on my car. Nevertheless, when I drove my car off the lot, I found the same problems that I had when I arrived, and he charged me 1500. If you do not want to be robbed, please save your money.

I stopped in here randomly one day after driving by to get an older Kia I recently purchased looked at and was greeted by Mustafa as if I was a lifelong customer. He COMPLETELY looked over my car and gave me a thorough explanation on all things wrong with it. He not only explained those problems to me but he also took videos of those problems so I could see them myself. Many mechanics are dishonest and price gouge, but Mustafa and the team made me feel comfortable and treated me as if I was family. Not to mention the price he gave me was awesome, shout-out to my big bro Mustafa you guys got a forever Customer out of me!

Every time I come here the customer service is great. They explain everything to you and the service is always good. Great place to go to for your auto service's.

This is the Second time I come here! This time was for my jeep inspection and it was awesome period there is not many shops like this one around anymore, this man is as honest as they come so Cudos to him and his staff for sure! Very positive experience this is my go to for anything that happens with my car. They are very efficient and tells you exactly what your car needs. They were willing to wait for me to come for my car after closing time. I am always satisfied with their service.

The guys there were awesome. I went there to get my truck inspected. Cost me around $49 for both State and Emission. There other service prices were pretty reasonable. I definitely will be taking my truck here in the future.

Recently had to do a oil change, I bought the my own oil and filter at Advance Auto Parts, called prior to getting there what will total estimate, he said "$39 and some change", got there, told him the oil &filter is in the car. Few minutes later, he came out and told me the oil did not match the car, but the filter was ok (mind you the oil I got was the right one based on what the Associate at AAP told me). I was like ok, just use your own oil, and I will return the one I bought back to AAP.
It was after the service, and arrived home, I realized he used up the whole gallon of the oil I bought, and had the nerve to charge me $69. Total dishonesty and a fraud. After being a loyal customer for over a year. Never again! PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR AUTO SERVICE WHERE THERE IS TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTY!

Update:

To add salt to injury, he called/texted me to tell me that they actually filled my car with the wrong oil (the one I supposedly bought) and now my car engine is at risk. Asking me to come back for them to correct their "mistake" and refund my money. By this time I am livid, then he went on further to blame me for creating the problem in the first place. Talk about gaslighting!

Other mechanic shops I hear of are ok with their customers bringing in their own parts/oil to reduce cost. Mind you, I drove 37 minutes from where I live to his shop for this oil change.
Now, I understand he is mainly trying to save face on the internet and not genuinely/authentically about his customers. Especially for the fact I have been coming to his shop for over a year.

I truly regret doing business with him from the very beginning. I will go to other better mechanics who are genuine and won't gaslight or cheat their customers.

I went here after searching online for someone closer than the place I had been using and I found this gem! The owner is especially kind and helpful and was also able to squeeze me in with no appointment to inspect my vehicle. I love the fact that they are honest as anyone i have ever gone to for car care and repair. They are so busy fixing things that are actually wrong with your car and don't need to make up things that are not wrong with your car. So if you want to take your car to someone you can trust to tell you the truth then you should call and make an appointment you won't regret it.
