My husband and I decided it was time to buy a house; with two kids, a dog, a cat, the townhouse life was just not working!
We started our search back in February with a different realtor from a different company and we made offer after offer with all of them not being accepted. The market is crazy at this time (2021) houses are going under contract or being sold days.sometimes hours after being listed.
We were so frustrated so we decided to switch realtors. We were using our VA benefits and using a VA loan, which is how we found Sarah! And I am so thankful we did! Sarah was absolutely amazing! She showed us 3 houses and the third house we made an offer. She helped us understand the current housing market, other offers that were being made for a ballpark reference of the amount over asking prices that were being thrown out. She walked us through the process and made sure we were putting out an offer that was both strong and one we were comfortable with. Sarah even suggested we write a letter to the seller tell them why we love this house and a bit about our family, this is what ultimately won over the seller and swayed him to accept our offer over the multiple other offers that had been made. Sarah was quick to act, went in aggressive with our offer (aggressive in a good way, which is what you want when it's a sellers market) aksing that we know within a day if our offer was going to be accepted so that if it was passed over we could quickly move on. I cannot stress enough how time is so important when there are so many other competitive offers being made on one house.

Sarah did a fantastic job in helping my wife and I find the home and area of our dreams. When we first visited the area we contacted several realtors. Sarah was the only one that kept sending us everything that became available that met our criteria. We had several showings and eventually changed our criteria to a 55+ area. At the time houses were only on the market for a short time before selling. We found a house in an area we loved that was "coming soon". We worked with Sarah to be allowed to have the first showing. We spent 2 hours looking the house over very well with Sarah's help. Sarah helped us put together an offer that was accepted the next day. The house was on the market for only hours not days. When we settled there were many things left behind by the previous owners. Sarah spent two days with us sorting through things that we wanted to keep and things that we did not. This was totally above and beyond her responsibilities. We highly recommend Sarah for buying or selling any house in the future.
