My mom was fortunate enough 3 yrs.ago to find an independent living efficiency apartment at Sarah Reed. Since that time her vision has become increasingly worse. Moving to SR has been a good decision for her. For the most part, it is one of the best facilities of it’s kind here in Erie. Staff is friendly & accommodating. The building is clean & outdoor areas are kept very well & beautiful in the summer. Dining, whether at the dining room or in resident’s apartment, is a pleasant part of the day. An problem/question family may have is always answered in a timely manner. Covid cases have been low & dealt with efficiently. If you have to choose or your loved one can make their own decision, SR is THE choice. Thank you to all staff there for what you do every day!

I applied for job there.
Went through whole interview/hiring process, was given time and date for training.
Had to go to medical checkup for job.
I missed the appointment, that's was entirely my fault.
Called the HR Department about me missing it, left voicemail, go no call me back.
I emailed them saying I'm withdrawing my application and wouldn't be able to take the job.
Like I said it was entirely my fault for missing the medical checkup, but I need a fast reply.
Cant afford to wait, I moved on.
That's life!

I have been an aide for over 30 years. I’ve worked at a few places, this is the best, hands down. Pay scale has changed for the better, you have supplies to work with, the food seems very appealing, the facility is beautiful and for the most part, people work together and my residents are awesome.
