Sauder Fuel, Adamstown PA

Had them come to my house to clean my oil furnace. Was told it was un usable. Service technician took my info was going to have sales reach out to me. They was right around valentines day. Sales person called once. And never heard from again. Needless to say. We went with another company. Talking to some friends about it whom have sauders. They said that the Service has gone down hill drastically

After recently acquiring a property with oil heat, we were unsure who to contact for our heating services. When we found Sauder, we knew we would use them! They are easy to contact (phone/email/internet) and very responsive. Just recently I had an issue with my oil burner, and Darlene was extremely helpful to me on the phone. She kept me calm and helped me to work through the situation. They are also prompt with the oil delivery when needed and offer a number of plans to help spread out the costs.

Used to be a big fan.until they were bought. I noticed a change in their billing, prices and service. Customer service has always been good however. Nice, helpful people on the phone. Im still trying to understand how my "budget" payment keeps going up and down however. Its more than my car payment. Oil delivery is very slow but since I am on auto delivery, its not really an issue. Thinking about changing to a different supplier, but im not sure that there is anyone out there that is any better. The customer service is keeping me there for now.

Stephanie Neff is so nasty and judgement to customers. Like she is some perfect person. Give me a break. Why does she still work for you guys? Get rid of her. It’s not a good image for your company.

I was low on home heating oil, and placed an order on Tuesday. I was told the wouldn't be delivered until early next week. I was ok with it, but to my surprise the was delivered on Thursday. Thank You!

Beware. We had someone come out and the lady failed to tell us they would charge us $145 just to come out and look at our tank. We were under the impression that when they ran new lines they messed something up because fuel was not getting to the furnace. Not once did the technician say there was a fee for him coming out and then he started the furnace after we said he didn't need to and my husband could do it. They charged us $71 for that. He added a fuel additive for $50 without first asking us if we wanted that service. If you can't be upfront with your customers about costs you aren't a trustworthy company. I never agreed to any of these costs.

I was outside when Tim drove up in the Sauder truck. We exchanged a pleasant good morning, then he got right to topping off our propane tank. Simple. Fast. Just what I had ordered.

Not happy with their new delivery policies. Now their is a $35 delivery services fee if you order less that 150 gallons (I always order 100 gallons) and their new policy of charging you 3 days before they deliver the oil. Imagine that, paying for a services before the service is done!
No empathy with the costumers that might be struggling to keep their homes warm this winter.

I appreciated Tim's courteous service. He also went above and beyond in starting the pilot lights on our log sets.

I called to get my tank filled and they said it would be the next week, which was fine. He actually came the next day. I've been a Sauder customer for years and will continue. Thank you.

Sauder Fuel has been delivering home heating oil AND propane for about 20 years and I always get amazing service at a fair price. They‘re great with auto- delivery. The delivery guys are all friendly and so are the customer service people. Buy with confidence A+

It took a week from the time I ordered oil until it was delivered. The last 2 years it has been difficult to get oil within a day or two of ordering.

I was not home at delivery. I had asked for him to call me when he was on his way and he did.

I cancelled auto-delivery near the end of last season, when Sauder was capitalizing on the oil prices and making unnecessary deliveries in March. I made it on a voicemail clear that I no longer wished to be on their auto-delivery program, and the person who returned the call left a voicemail confirming the cancellation and stating that they would reach out again in the fall to see if I wished to resume delivery. I have not received another call, email, note on my door or in my mailbox stating that deliveries would resume, much less giving me the option to reinstate their services. Now, today, I get an email confirmation that they, without my permission, came into my home and filled the tank. Contacting BBB, as well as local law enforcement, as this is an unacceptable business practice. They should be shut down.

Driver was helpful, professional and willing to answer any questions I may have had. Great service!

So we recently upgraded our system so no longer need oil. I cancelled our service with sauder and requested our money back for a service we no longer needed. We are only getting a little over half of our money back. Just beware. Will be reporting to the BBB as well.
