I go here every year with the Girl Scouts! I like that they play music and keep the ice in good shape. The skates are also ok for rentals; I've been places where they're entirely unskatable, but here they're just mid.

Friendly staff and nice ice. My only suggestion is they add outdoor seating perhaps in a bleacher style alongside the hill to the left of the rink in picture.

Great experience!
The ring is quite large and had space for many people with different experience levels from complete beginners trying to stand on ice to professionals doing pirouettes and jumps.
The prices are quite affordable, they have skate rentals and also some special discounts for college students and families in certain days.
For me the only problem is getting to the ice ring without a car because the accesses are not very good at least at night.
Hope to come again soon ️️

Great time at the mascot skate except for the liberal yelling about having a mask on. Nice place

The customer service was awful! Staff was so rude and short with us. We called earlier and were told they’d have the walkers for learning to skate. My son was so excited and we made a long trip down just for him to say they wouldn’t let us use one at that particular time slot OR give us our money back. We made the best of it but it was definitely disappointing.

This place suck, choppy ice bad skates. Also there is also a worker who keeps telling you to put you mask on when his employees aren't even wearing them properly. Got kicked for a season. Never going back ever again.

New boards, glass, and refrigerator units plus benches so its a nicer rink than it used to be.

I mean I’m 12 but during COVID they should schedule like everyone else Bc my family wanted to go ice skating and we came and the first one was fulll and we waited so long for the next one just for it to be full so now my dad thinks it is his fult and he is upset that today was a bust: (

What a lovely experience! The wait is a bit long but worth it! Thank you for being such a friendly staff!

Looks like you need to get a "yellow tag" in order to be eligible to join the queue that starts at least half an hour before each session (that's the way to control capacity due to the covid restriction). And the staff there have no idea how far exactly in advance will they hand out those yellow tags. Have seen so many people failed to get in even after multiple trips: (1) you will only be told it has reached the maximum capacity if you ask no further questions, (2) even if you are able to join the queue and thought you will get in, then at register you will be told you actually need to get a yellow tag in order to join the queue (the yellow tags have already been distributed a while ago ahead of the queue).

To save everyone more trips before enjoying the skating, the staff there at the register definitely need to be better trained to RESPECT eveyrone's time, instead of sitting back in the window doing NOTHING and taking advantage of this covid situation (less work, but more time to chit chat back in the window). There is no way to directly call their office to find out more information either. At least they should inform everyone of their mysterious procedue for admission and ticket purchase.

I would recommend to check the time for each session, arrive there early, e.g. 45 minutes before, AND KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THOSE SITTING AT THE REGISTER (do not let them out of your sight) to make sure you will get your yellow tag and whatever tricks they played to secure your position.
PS: feel so shameful for them knowing many others waited there for the whole time but still missed multiple sessions with the only explanation "it reaches the maximum capacity". It is understandoble for the maximum capacity policy to care for other's safety, but that means more respect, more responsiblity, and more cares, but not more time to chit chat, more time to enjoying seeing people failed to get in after several trips, etc.

They need to do a better job at setting up session times during Covid. People drive miles to skate, only to find out the rink has reached its max capacity. This is the digital age.set up ticket purchases online so you don’t have this problem.

Second, you need to allow adjustable skate trainers for all times. You won’t believe how many grown adults I saw fall very hard. Not to mention the children as well. My child fractured their wrist, and it was very tough to track down an attendant for assistance because they had their earbuds in.

I understand no place is perfect, but you should do the best you can to make the experience better for all who wish to visit.

The city completely demolished and reconstructed the rink in 2019. The ice is great, and that's the important part, but the rink looks the same as it did previously. That said, I only go maybe twice a year, so it's fair to say I'm not super familiar with the place, but had I not known about the reconstruction, there's a pretty good chance I wouldn't have noticed. All told, this is a great outdoor skating venue.
