Schiel's Family Market reviews
27Small store but they had alot of bargains in there i got 50 small clams for 9.99 they were very good nice and fresh!
I have trouble walking and I have to use one of them electric scooters and the Isles are so narrow and cluttered you can hardly walk down them if somebody else is there you can't even get by
Very nice employees, always polite! Supermarket is always well stocked and food items are fresh! Absolutely love it!
You are ALWAYS out of the necessary items that people need to live. You don't say one word if a persons mask is not on correctly
It's mask policing and social distancing enforcement is not very good while I understand it's ultimately up to the individual person it isn't being enforced
It's so convenient for me to grab things i need for dinner, or just do a short groceries shopping.
Got a haddock fillet from the sea food section. Although not a large selection what they have is nice.
Love this store. Has wide variety of products. Prices reasonable. No problem with driving 45 minutes to shop there. Never disappointed.
Generally speaking, the store and some of the staff is very good. The location is not! Very depressing area. Encountered many ignorant patrons. Not happy at all. All the other locations are highly recommended. Many good deals with this chain. I rate the market itself FIVE STARS PLUS. This location, not so great.
What can I say a family friendly supermarket
Its my go too supermarket offering great specials daily
The deli girl is amazing you ask for it a certain way and she does it the right way and she friendly and has a great smile.
For a small store it's decent for items. Sales are good too. If you want more variety their Plains store is much bigger.
The parking lot could use a redesign, but they have a good variety of food and they have enough people working at the checkouts.
I love this small grocery store. It's very friendly. And I got double coupons I was very excited.
Not the cleanest super market. If you don't know the area it would be difficult to find. They do have very good meats. Usually semi crowded bc it is a close store to visit for people who live in that area. Not such a great neighborhood. I do go there basically for their meats.
One of the best stores in the area for sure.mist of the workers are high school students and they always are open to help you.they are doing part time work and are always helpful and courteous for sure.i go here alot and it is for sure one of the best grocery stores in nepa
Modernizing their Hanover street store. Good selection. Wished it were larger, it's becoming busier.
Horrible customer service! I tried to get change for a $20 to use the lottery machine and not only did all 5 tellers tell me they didn't have change for a $20 but they even had attitude about it. Then I ask the 2 women. At the customer service desk and they didn't have it either. How does a large supermarket not have change for a $20? !? And they all need to work on their customer service skills!
I am changing my review after purchasing and learning and confirming that not only did they sell cod as haddock and substitute cheese brands when sold out of the sale items without notice to customers but intentionally deceptive about it. During the same visit I watched an older female deli clerk with a blonde Pixy cut and glasses eating from the salad bowls in the case as she was stirring them. Needs new management or better inspectors.
