School of Rock reviews
11Getting a chance to work with other kids was great. The folks from School of Rock were very nice.
I can practice, rehearse, and play shows. Try doing that in your basement. And the lesson I get is at the level I'm playing.
Absolutely amazing school. The individual attention to each students needs is incredible. There is a true sense of bringing to something bigger for each student. It's not just music lessons - they have made an accepting unique community for kids - something that reinforces the values we preach at home. Cannot recommend highly enough. From the manager to the instructors - this school is top notch!
Google only let's me comment 'good' on characteristics of SOR-FW but it is far from good - the school is exceptional in their management of students during a pandemic - a model of an organization doing the right things during a tough time. Their teachers, administrators and management are completely top notch - we are so incredibly grateful for our experience!
Kids are treated respectfully and all abilities are accommodated. Well run with professional staff. Great communication with parents.
These guys are AMAZING! SOOO IMPRESSED how they have handled COVID period. Regular, clear, comforting emails demonstrating flexibility, and reacting in real-time to the latest COVID situation and what SOR plans to do next. Above all, THE SHOW MUST GO ON! They have carefully orchestrated the final concert phase so that kids still play but everyone is safe! Fantastic fortitude and resilience during very difficult times but maintaining artistic integrity! Bravo School of Rock Fort Washington! Richard Lyntton (Actor/author)
My brother started going here a little over a year ago. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate what you have done for him. Over the year he has been in your program, he has grown out of his shell and become a more confident person, made new friends, and gave him a place to fit in. I am so grateful for the huge impact you made on his and my family’s life.
School of Rock, Fort Washington has been a life-changing experience for my son. He has so much confidence not only in his musical and performance abilities, but most importantly, in his social interactions with his peers!
The staff are truly outstanding at Ft Wash SOR. They inspire all sorts of kids to pursue their musical passions. My kids were usually quite motivated to practice and prepare for their weekly rehearsals and always enjoyed making music with their SOR friends. SOR also became a separate community of friends for the kids. As our youngest graduates in a year, we will miss this community for sure.
Our son has thrived under the instruction of SoR whose staff are part teachers and part mentors. Both his musical skills and music appreciation have grown as a result of SoR's programming and we feel very fortunate to be part of this wonderful and talented community of musicians.
Excellent teaching staff and the shows are always top notch. Professionally run and the staff really cares about the kids and the overall experience.
