I have been seeing Dr Gottlieb for almost 20 years. I have had numerous types of things frozen, removed or scrapped. Most times Dr. Gottlieb is patient, considerate and personable. I am quite fond and comfortable with him. His office staff used to be a bit unfriendly but even that part of the business has gotten much better. When I see the doctor, I make sure that all my questions are asked and even tho the office an Doc might be busy, I still get that professional advice.

This guy will destroy your skin and blame it on you and tell you to go get it fixed somewhere else. I had some raised lesions on my chest and I trusted Dr Gottlieb to use the correct amount of steroids to inject. I ended up getting steroid induced atrophy (dents in my chest) and telangiectasias (lots of dilated blood vessels). I showed him and he said to go see a plastic surgeon instead of suggesting anything. The dents will not go away on their own. It looks ugly and he has ruined my skin. He is uncaring

I'm surprised to read the many negative reviews and felt compelled to share my experience. I've been seeing Dr. Gottlieb for years for bi-annual scans and have had nothing but caring and efficient service. While Dr. Gottlieb doesn't spend a lot of time on pleasantries, he's kept me healthy and is efficient with my time, which I appreciate. Additionally I've never had issues with the front office, billing or scheduling. Your mileage may vary but I've been very pleased with the support provided by Dr. Gottlieb and his office.

Unbelievably incompetent doctor. I didn’t feel cared for in the slightest. I will never ever return.

I went here for a lump on my skin (as one does). Saw a Nurse Practitioner first off and then a surgeon to remove it. These guys did good, Nurse was WONDERFUL! Attentive and treated me well. Surgeon was great, friendly and did a good job. Front of house staff were fine with me. I will go here again.

Very unprofessional and incompetent doctor. Barely took a minute for my exam. So yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Most incompetent and inconsiderate doctor I have ever seen. Didn't even see for 2 mins.didn't explain what to expect after cryotherapy for plantar removal. It became so painful after 2 days.he just rushed through it.no care instructions nothing.looks like he just wants to get rid of patients quickly to make

1 month update: I stand by everything I said below, but the medicine he prescribed did heal my finger, with no resurgence in symptoms after two weeks. The flaky, itchy fast-growing skin inside my nose is still a problem, I'll probably go back and insist on waiting outside to be called.

Waiting room crowded with people, way too many for a safe indoor space during covid. They say come no more than five minutes early, but then have this system where everyone (or maybe just new patients) have to wait in the main waiting room and fill out all their information and medical history. I was doing this for 12 minutes before the receptionist called me, and it could have all been done online.

Dr Gottleib was rushed and didn't listen to me. I described what was happening to the skin under my fingernails and he said it looks like a normal nail to me, but he was pointing at the wrong nail. I again told him that no, my skin had been peeling away from the nail for months, look at it, it doesn't look normal, and he said treat it like excema. I thought I have psoriasis from internet comparisons of excema and psoriasis, and I know he's the doctor, but I don't think he listened to me enough for me to really trust his diagnosis.

Expensive addition of insult to injury. He concluded that because I’m from Coatesville my rash must be bedbugs, lice, fleas, or scabies. He never considered that I might be allergic to my farm poultry.

I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS!
There is no relationship with the staff and patient. Everything is very rushed. I was even waiting in the room for the doctor for over 30 minutes because he forgot what order he was given so I was over looked. Also to many patients in the lobby for COVID-19 guidelines. They have spaced out seating but there is no way people are 6ft apart with the amount of people that are there. Front desk just yells you’re whole address out to lobby and takes phones calls while you’re checking out getting set up for next apt. I do not plan on returning. I hope to find a smaller dermatology group.

Dermatology visit was too fast and Dr. Would not respond to questions about a growth on my neck. Billing is horrible - I paid my co pay to this outfit in Long Island NY and they keep sending me bills. I'm afraid to give a credit card number as they may bill my credit card numerous times.

It says something when one person can turn a rating of 5-stars to 1-star but that's what Luann in the Exton office has done. She was rude, immature, and unprofessional and makes me look at the Schweiger Dermatology Group with different, and far more negative, eyes. If the Group permits her kind of behavior, it's time for me to find a new dermatologist.
