Scottish Inns Milford, PA

My night at the Scottish Inn went beyond my expectations. The room was a nice size, especially the bathroom. It was very clean and updated. Fast wifi. Quick and excellent customer service. The highway is close by but the room was quiet. There were other guests, but I did not hear the other vehicles or people. I spent and quiet and restful night at the Scottish Inn. I will stay there again.

I did not get the room I reserved. I reserved a king and was give double. The room was tiny. No hangers. No iron. Room was right on the highway, so dealt with road noise all night.

The best 2 star motel I’ve ever been in.

The mini Fridge was actually on and it was a good size fridge. There was charging ports next to your bed on both sides. Bathroom was clean and looked very nice! Plenty of parking.

I didn’t hear any cars from the highway or road. I would only hear guests closing their door in the morning.

I’ve been in hotels that would either not have a fridge or microwave or they would turn off the fridge and i would have to turn it on.

There’s a diner directly next to the motel.

This place was so nice that I'm annoyed I previously paid double for a worse place in the area! Service was great- unbeknownst to me, there was some kind of issue with the website I booked through and my reservation was somehow canceled, but the proprietor called me to let me know. She had no vacancies due to this error, but went as far as calling other guests to confirm they'd be coming, and when someone canceled she gave me their room. Can't imagine that kind of service in most places! The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, everything worked properly. A bit of road noise but not much. Great location - Amazing diner next door (& Giovanni's delivered great dinner), then right back on the highway. Wish everywhere I stayed was like this!

Also worth noting that the proprietor did not react negatively when I disclosed we're a queer couple (she asked if I'd be staying with my husband and I corrected her) - sad to say that we always have to be on guard when we're traveling, but it was nice to have it be a non-issue here.

I had an excellent stay here the customer service was Top Notch. For a small roadside Motel the rooms were amazing and cleaner than many four-star hotels I have stayed in. There is even a great little diner right next door that you can walk to and it is convenient to Milford, Port Jervis, and Montague.

Booked this place for our motorcycle road trip this week. Ended up staying 2 nights this week there. Great place to stay at. Rooms were so clean and neat and updated. Staff was super friendly. Nice seating area out front to sit and watch traffic go by and stare at the mountain. Close to restaurants and a Walmart. Great little diner right next door you can walk to which I highly recommend! Don't mind the photos, this was morning of check out hence the messy bed and bathroom towels. Definitely look forward to staying here next year for our next trip!

Conveniently located off the highway but you may hear some interstate traffic. Fair price for clean decent size rooms with refrigerator and microwave available. Owner worked with us to make our late check in as smooth as possible. Very friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

What a delightful discovery. We stopped here during our long road trip and were very pleased with our cute, cozy room, but it was the wonderful, friendly owner who really made the experience top-notch. We only spent one night and got back on the road bright and early. We were making good time when the owner called to let us know that we had forgotten my wife's toiletries bag. We'd gone too far to turn back, and my wife was upset that she would have to rebuy all of her lotions and cremes and whatnot. But the owner suggested that if we'd send her a self-addressed envelope she would send it back to us! Above and beyond! My wife got her items back and the Scottish Inns in Milford got fans for life. We'll be stopping by here any time we road trip through these parts again.:)

This is the nicest roadside motel in which we have ever stayed. We do not travel often, and were there for only 1 night on our way to NY which is usually driven in one go. We decided to break up the drive a bit & after much research, chose Milford & The Scottish Inn. Our room was immaculate-everything- furniture, the microwave & little fridge, the bathroom. I could not help wondering why I don't have such a nice bathroom at home!
The Scottish Inn does not offer breakfast, however there is a wonderful diner right next door! All in all a good experience and I will happily stay again next time I have the opportunity!

What a nice place! I'm usually expecting dirty bathrooms etc from 2 star motels but this one surprised me. I spilled water all over the bathroom floor and I wiped it up with a white towel and the towel was completely clean. Everything was clean. And the room is pretty. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because the sheets were kind of rough and warm for the summer time but the were fresh and clean. I slept great. I will probably stay here again on the way back if I'm going back this way.

Booked directly through their website, figured I could sign up for the loyalty program when I arrived. Was told my rate would be increased, and then I couldn't cancel, then became some awkward negotiation.really didn't appreciate that check in experience. Tiles where loose on bathroom floor, window couldn't be opened as it was broken. Overall the rooms where fine, I tried to book direct through them so they would get the most money.next time, I'll stick with booking.com

I only get to stay here once or twice a year when I run the Spartan Race in Vernon, NJ. The inn is nice, quiet, and inexpensive, which is exactly what I'm looking for.

This is a nice little place I like to stay in when traveling through Pennsylvania. Very clean, well kept, and reasonable rates. Owners are nice folks.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly, check in was quick and easy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was fairly updated and super clean! Oh, and did I mention the room was clean!

Absolutely horrible. No less than 5 crickets IN THE ROOM they explained as "just natural", a room in the back basement that looks like something you'd see in Unsolved Mysteries, and it cost $150/night. To make it worse, and on a personal note I was there for a funeral which made it all the worse. Do not recommend. Ever.

This is a nice clean reasonably priced motel. The room feels out of date, but has everything you need. Cable television, microwave, mini fridge with freezer and exceptionally fast internet connection. Bed was clean and comfortable. Location is convenient. I would stay again

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were well cared for, clean and updated. Nice location and close to our destination. Road noise was apparent but died out when it was time for bed. We all loved it!

Very clean, very professional people kind courteous. TV gave us a problem had to be reprogrammed but I was too tired to care.

Easy check in and check out. The room was clean. The only issue I had was that the beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were flat and hard.
